Ex-Oklahoma County Clerk tells female employees they'll 'do things that no one normally does'

David Hooten resigned from the county-level office amid a sexual harassment investigation by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.
In interviews with investigators, women say Hooten sexually harrassed them described a work environment prone to hostility and frustration caused by a lack of intervention by Hooten in their initial complaints. They also raised concerns regarding their safety due to a possible "date rape situation" because of his statements about alcohol, according to the Sheriff office's report.
Hooten said he still plans to run for state treasurer.
