This is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I have been listening to it for almost 30 years and it never tires me. It has helped me in many difficult moments, especially during my youth. It's a special song, you can hear the heart, the anger, the nostalgia, the life. It is one of the songs that helped and convinced me to become what I am in life, a musician. I would like to say thank you to those who wrote this masterpiece. Greetings from Italy :)
Took me 20 years to find this song again, the chorus has been vaguely stuck in my head for 2 decade since I was a little kid watching mtv vhs tapes my dad saved
And not forgetting the all dayers at the Wheatsheaf in Walsall with bands on from noon to midnight, acid tabs, and spliffs out the back of the pub......great (satur)days and (bank holi) days mate ✌😎👀
A great song by a band who get forgotten and a underrated one but this song shows just how good they were it's like a lost song that should have not been
Whos still listening to this banger in 2024?

These boys knew how to write a tune
Still do
This song holds a lot of emotion for me
Takes me back to 1993 what a band and album and SONG this has brought a smile to my sad existence

Got sent home from school for wearing my IDIOT t-shirt. Went from zero to hero in a day.
Their best track, in my opinion. Staunchly underappreciated, unfortunately. Just like the album it's on.
In the future I think Miles will get more recognition for being a great songwriter and performer
No he won't and it's a bloody tragedy. Not cool enough image for the mainstream though my circle of friends loved em and still do
A truer encapsulation of post punk never took the stage
For some reason this always gets me right in the feels
Truly a timeless song.
First heard this during my last year at school. Bit of a theme for that time. Moving on to the next venture in life.
Probably THE perfect 90's alt anthem.
Cleaning the windows to this in December 2021. Wonder where I was when I first heard this? I bet I never imagined back then I’d end up in Japan!
Always takes me back to Friday nights in Stourbridge !!!
Amen from a fellow Glassboy.

Massively underated
Still absolutely awesome all these years later.
This was always my favourite Wonder Stuff song. Brilliant lyrics, lots of light and shade in the music and a kick ass chorus xx
Brilliant song, brilliant, and underrated outfit. Still going strong, 30 years on. There is no higher praise really.
Showing these young whippersnappers a thing or two
Fantastic band, great gigs, lovely people xxx
Still sends a shiver down my spine
Getting flashbacks to watching this video on the ITV Chart Show. Good times.

I still have this on VHS
Me too lol
One of the best.
Love it .. still has a right kick to it
One of my favourite tunes ever. I’ll listen until I drop…..
Very much the band's farewell song. An absolute blinder.
So true.
Jesus I forgot I wrote this. Still feel the same though
played as part of the set in Rock city two days ago. Crowd went balistic. Excellent gig. Good times with good mates.
Good to hear them tonight in RC. On the Ropes is one of my favourite WS songs..
This is my favourite stuffies tune and the album is a stoner as well
Muy buena rola en 2022
Despues de casi 20 años que escuche por primera vez esta canción por fin la encontre.
