Gagnidze is not very convincing as Rigoletto, but vocally in a good shape and I appreciate the effort to pronounce words clearly. Olga Peretyatko is very flat. It's obvious that she does not have an Eflat, why does she attempt at the end? Tasteless and I don't get a single word.
I like singing (with exception on last high notes - both singers were very unsure, and soprano under tuned). I don't like staging and choreography. Apropos...I think this is one of the reasons, why maestro Nucci avoid singing in west big theatres.;)
What's with the Gagnidze hate? I love his voice. I'm so excited to hear him starring in this!
All I know is, the next time I hear somebody say that some couple had a lover's quarrel, I'll say, "Was it a big one? Was it as big as this?"
depending on WHAT was or is ...big
Encore une fois, Olga Peretyatko est exceptionnelle et je trouve George Gagnidze formidable aussi ! ^^
not convincing enough for Rigoletto...where is Leo?

Oh, it was the dress rehearsal, OK, all is forgiven.
