Use refrigerated water to start the keg. Pour on the hot wort then top with cold water. Temp should be about right. Works for me. Old instructions say stir. Newer ones say dont stir. It looks like you have an older keg...newer kegs have a different spigot. 10 days to 2 weeks for fermentation. 2 weeks to carbonate and overnight in the fridge to condition.
GREAT vid Scotty! ok, a couple of pointers to make it easier. 1) buy a bottle filler and connect that via a tube to the Mr Beer spigot. This will make bottling MUCH faster and easier. No weighing will be required! Once the bottle fills you lift the filler out and you are at the perfect level. 2) instead of using a spatula (Makes a mess) to clean out the can, I pour some of the hot liquid BACK into the can a few times rinsing out the last of the malt. You had a NICE looking beer there buddy! Good job! When will be see a beer brat video with home brew? lol
Thanks for this video - really enjoyed it. I received a kit for Christmas and today is the end of the 3 week fermenting. I wasn't 100% sure if I thought the taste was right or not and ready for bottling, but this video helped boost my confidence a bit to go ahead and start that process.
Well done sir
Thanks. I love making beer.

What's the alcohol percentage of that beer? I've heard you can make up to around 8%
depends on how much sugar u add. this was about 8.5
