Yes, time is flying by, I so agree. I can't believe Nov. is nearly over. I do enjoy the flowers indoors during this time of the year. I am looking out and a frozen wilderness right now, so frosty and cold this morning. Its that time of year.

I love that they fit into smaller spaces so you can have lovely flowers even when there is not much room. Like a narrow window sill or they are easy to tuck into a small space on a cluttered desk to enjoy.

Gma had no other houseplants but the 3 violets halfway up the stairs on window ledge. Right now I have more plants than I care to have. A branch broke off a Viburnam and trying to root them, the bay leaf, rosemary and white sage overwintering, some other plants that were shipped here by mistake and they said keep them 🙄 and my trusty 2 originals-Thanksgiving cactus blooming on time for once and an orchid. The cactus usually blooms all 3 holidays as it’s not sure what it is-poor thing😂.
Speaking of Cold-Yikes! We had the longest warm fall and was racing to get bulbs in and greenhouse remodel done before ground freezes. Well, we had to search for a replacement truck that didn’t require a mortgage and finally successful yesterday so now I can get supplies, then the spring bulbs were NOW 70% off which I bought more…and now the weather is barely getting to 35F/day with teens at night 🥶😱. What have I done?!😮. I’ll be out there with a pick trying to plant again. Warning-opening emails from seed companies is dangerous 😂.
Oh well, time is so fleeting and I thought, Why Not! However the winters are so long and who doesn’t like to see some color in the spring-right? I think I’m just relieved that we found a truck 🛻.

Loved the line on opening emails from seed companies being dangerous, oh yes, very definitely. And I know what you mean about a truck, we finally have our truck fixed and I can't believe the difference it makes having the ability to haul larger items. That reminds me, we need to get a bale of alfalfa for the chicken pen. Wow, it sure has turned cold in your neck of the woods. We have been getting a lot of rain and it must be a warm storm as it got down to 31 yesterday but the rain did not turn to snow. I still have bulbs in the basement but I will plant them in containers.

I love African Violets, but I've never tried to grow any, but I think I'm going to now. It seems very easy to propagate them. Where did you find miniature African Violets? I have that little garden shovel from Gardeners Supply because I saw you with one and thought that it would be handy for my succulents and cactus. Thank you for the video. I love it.❤❤

I bought mine at the Green Acres in Elk Grove, CA but here is a website that sells them as well as other types. The Violet Barn: www.violetbarn.com/

I have tried to watch this video twice and do not have audio, not sure if it is just me or if something went wrong in processing. I will try again later.
