The thing about radical red is you can have fun , switch it up with randomizer abilities and pokemon, each time is a new game
That's the reason why sometimes I start like 6 games in a day. Opening is so fun with randomizer really leads to interesting problem solving with random encounters.
Ive never had more fun with a pokemon game than randomizer nuzlocking rad red. Literally infinite amount of pokemon because you never know what ability or who you will get. No two runs will have the same first 6 mon.
Yea I think if you randomize anything in any game is gonna be a new game😂 doesn’t make radical red any different

I just picked up RR for the first time and have been trying to nuzlocke on normal difficulty, it has been ROUGH. Haven’t had a run get past Sliph co rival yet
silph co double battle is insane, i lost my run like 10 times there🥲
Easy difficulty is still harder than any pokemon game by a decent amount. Maybe try that first
I picked it up a few months ago and after around 5 normal playthroughs started a nuzlocke run. I only lost 10 pokemon and 3 were from the champion battle. I didn't expect to win on my first try, so now I'm practicing on hardcore mode.

@Hikkenn I'm in a similar boat, I'm on attempt 14, I've had one run got E4. Every run I've had go past Sabrina has gone to at least Cerulean Cave lol

If he's using a mostly standard nuzlocke ruleset where its one per route, why is he hatching so many starter eggs from Celadon? The rules mention if there's a gift, it replaces normal encounter. Does he consider those eggs different? Is he dodging encounters on bad routes in favor of hatching eggs there? It's impossible to tell in this edited video.

Idk if it's a skill issue on my part but the first Brendan fight and also the flying type trainer in the museum required like a lot of grinding all the way up to the level cap which was annoying

Hardcore mode is definitely more difficult than Kaizo and maybe run and bun but no shot Normal mode is anywhere close to those games

Probably from a wonder egg but if you do the raid dens in the route east of vermilion there is a 4% chance that you get a dream patch (the item for hidden ability)

New to rad red - how does he have all that money / items so early on?
There's codes find in the discord/documents that give you items and rare candies. Hardcore mode also gives everything perfect ivs and there's no evs. It's to save time grinding so every reset isn't 20 hours

Neither 3.1 nor 4.0 radical red come close to emerald kaizo or run and bun. There is a reason many people beat it faster with nuzlocke rules compared to Ek
