can we just cement the fact that asling is a DAMN GEM? im so glad she was on many episodes. Joe and David are always a delight as well! great cast this episode
I love when Aisling Bea is on the show. She is absolutely ok with everybody, never offends anyone, but always tries to make jokes of everything. And mostly I love her for her: "yeah, maybe this is the topic, but I got my own facts and roles here" attitude. My favourite f. woman next to Alissa White-Gluz.
Sun Fish don't stick to warm water. I went on a fishing trip off New Jersey, in sight of the Statue of Liberty, and the boat skipper got a call on the radio so went hauled in to motor off and have a look, with about four other boats. It was every bit of 6' by 8', sunbathing on its side on the surface. The skipper said that they often had big shark-bites out of them because they were such an easy target.
11:00 I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it until the day I die; if there was one movie I could stop from ever being released, it would be Jaws. "Killer shark movies" is a whole subgenre these days, but I'm hoping that removing jaws will cut that down significantly. And I think that sub-genre is genuinely harmful for the world as a whole; obviously it makes it way harder for conservationalists to protect sharks, but I feel like that fear bleeds into conservation in general.
Interesting to see Sandi refer to Billy Ocean as 'one of the nicest people in the world' given that he is anti-feminist and anti-LGBTQ. I guess we have different definitions of the word "nice."

She's damn hot.😍
Bea is the best. Even by American standards.
Agree. I think it's aisling, though
She really rounds out the episodes she is on😊 "Moby Fanny" 😂
im not sure i have an "ideal" cast for QI, but this is quite close for certain
I love David's ongoing battles with the Elves 😁
This is a great cast. All 4 different but equally funny!

One of the best episodes. All guests brilliant and Alan and Sandi are always great.
I'm surprised they didn't ask the panelists the name of the mechanical shark in Jaws. (It was Bruce, named after Steven Spielberg's lawyer.)
David on a rant. Along with Alan. Add Joe an Aisling to the mix. Allow Sandy to stir. Add a dash of elves. Voila! Great pleasure.
David and Aisling are two of my favorites on any show.
Actually shocked when AD said "I shat that out earlier” 😂
Well, you're probably American and ask for the rest room or bathroom when you want to empty your bladder or bowels.
I like Sandy’s sweater.
7:42 What's the scariest thing about this?
Me: John Williams!
Can anyone explain the "haaandbag" joke?
It is a quote from the Irish writer Oscar Wilde's play "The lmportance of being Earnest".
Colin Lane told that shark joke back in series K, so good
only first line i know: In a hole in the ground, there lived a Hobbit.
That one BBC guy turning down Faulty Towers must've been kicking himself forever.
who is that guy?
@@deborahpolk1854 I imagine he's just one of the many many thousands of middle management employees no one usually hears about in show business.
David - There's a fish called Mudskippers that have fins that are like legs and they do walk on land. 🐟🚶♀️
My first thought, thank you Ren & Stimpy.

Moby Front Butt. Featuring the character Queef-queg.😂😂😂
They missed the fact that Aisling basically got it right - the editor did indeed suggest a feminist twist (of sorts).
Alan was on something this episode
Here in Aotearoa (New Zealand) spring is the first day we hear the call of the Pīpīwharauroa (Shining Cuckoo - Chrysococcyx lucidus).
Asling is just straight up 🔥🔥🔥 HOT!!!!
That she is! I've met her, and I'm still shocked at how stunning she is!
Ah men, needing looks to get them going. So shallow😂
Aisling.
For the edification of viewers: the Moby Dick rejection letter was a hoax that apparently the elves got suckered in by.
36:46 David, there ARE fish that live on land. All land vertebrates are descended evolutionarily from fish that moved to the land. Including David.

If its water... for all we know, it could be custard.

Why do my comments disappear? 😮😂 I ❤ Binge!
What happened to the closed caption trying to stop us older folk frm watching

You can dislike plenty of things, and still be quite pleasant in conversation to be considered a nice person.
Nah, everyone knows it’s the 7 Seas of Sinbad.

Yeah, no. Great white sharks are terrifying regardless of soundtrack.
If only Alan Davies was as funny as he thinks he is.
His standup is actually quite good. He's definitely leaning into his "bit" of being Stephen/Sandi's QI whipping boy.
Who is Alan Daviness? 😂
