I cannot thank you enough today. I went to Hobby Lobby and got the most beautiful paper pads. They were on a terrific sale a $19.99 pad for $4.99 not all of them but a lot. I came home and make a book and it came out amazing. Thank you with all my heart for this wonderful idea.
Love it. I use to write on one side stories. Then I will flip the book upside down on the back and write another story . That book would work perfectly for me.
This is so beautiful. You can make half of the book a flipside book since its upside down. Just put a divider in half of the book. It is still gorgeous. Be blessed.
I like the way you simplified the composition book's spine by using paint! Sherry, you really help us think outside the 📦! At this 👉point, we can continue choosing the paper and what other designs we choose to complete and finalize our journal 😀! Thank-you Sherry! May God bless 🙌You!
I love that you aren't afraid to show us your accidents as well as your perfect finishes!!! This is such a great, inexpensive gift idea!! Thank you for giving us all of you time and ideas!
Your paper/ journal notebooks are so inspirational. I am a member of a bible study group of 17 ladies. We have had so many answers to prayer in the past 2 years and this would make a beautiful prayer journal. Thank you for this. I can do this and economical as well. I would decorate the inside flap as well and add Pockets for prayer requests. Thank you Sherry
I woke up, did my walk, got my Katee-Bleu’ off to school, and going to enjoy some videos from your library that I may have missed. Have a wonderful day. I love to write stuff down too. This is pretty. 🌻🌕☕️🎵🎶 Good Morning Sherry, Happy Friday your way. No matter how you feel, may you have a positive day. I am giving it my best, Jennifer
Oh my, these are perfect. I have so many journaling family members. I love how you share so much and on every level. You are a true gift from God and I thank the heavens each day for sending you. Lots of love
Hi Cheri thank you for showing me how to make bows and flowers without having to purchase bow paper maker. You save me so much money. I did not realize I could make this without spending money needlessly. Usually I always think out of the box but I was thinking about this and then you video came up and thank you so so much 💐💞🙋🏻🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🙏
Painting the edge of binder was brilliant and really made the beautiful paper "POP"!! Just another reason why I love watching you Sherry. You're full of fresh, Awesome Ideas that are truly "POSH"!!! Thank you...💗😘🌻😇
I love it! "Life doesn't always go in the right direction". I have some oppsies I think I will sell at my craft fairs for half price (for people with a quirky sense of humor). Maybe put this saying on a banner as embellishment. Thank you for sharing your God given talent with us.
Update... I just finished 2 of the composition books that I will be giving away. You truly inspired me. I bought my comp books at Walmart for.10. What a find. It has been fun and challenging to make each book different. Thank you again for inspiring me to do this. I used Beacon Tacky Glue from the dollar store on the inside. It works well no warp.
I like the painted spine … it probably adds just that tiny bit of extra strength to the cloth spines. As for the upside down comments … I can totally relate … I e counted 5 art journal pages that I’ve done that are upside down in my journal this year. I get myself all turned around when I don’t stamp, paint or stencil with a right side up background. Thank you for sharing. These turned out quite lovely
What a fabulous way to cover the ole composition book! So easy, and using beautiful collection paper makes it very beautiful, and strong. Bravo! Thank you for sharing this for us!
YEPPP! 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️. This is the one I have been waiting for! I TOLD my sister I was going to find something to do with that stack I have been collecting!! 💙💙💙
I love that your back is upside down!!! Now you have one of those journals you can use for two things. Write from the front about something, then flip it over and maybe use it as "another" notebook for your quarterly goals or a prayer journal.
Good morning Lovely Lady Sherry....thank you so much for this wonderful tut. I do teach and host bible journaling at our church. We have all been missing each other so very much. That;s one of the reasons I’ve been re-doing my craft room. It is big enough for about four large folding tables so im trying to get it ready for us to be safely distanced in a small group and to have everything easy access or user friendly. I open up all my supplies to everyone. I have been blessed with so much from friends I couldn’t use it all in two lifetimes. I first thought this would be perfect for our first project together but i have decided i want to make and gift them to my ladies right away. I know it will lift their spirits and let them know how treasured they are to me and to each other. This is a perfect gift to encourage us through all this isolation. Thank you Sherry. You touch far more hearts than you realize. Thanks for teaching us how to reach out with these amazing projects. Big ol hugs from Washington state to our beloved NC! Stay well and God Bless
Sherry, You certainly could have edited the video with your ooops. But you left it and your statement of life is so important. There are ups and downs, forward and backwards. Thank you so much. Beautiful project.
Another easy project! I decorated some mini composition notebooks with cardstock paper. In stead of painting the spine, I used washi tape in coordinating colors.
I don’t remember hearing you say that you are not a scissors gal in past videos! I totally relate, but I find that I am getting better at fussy cutting and don’t hate doing it so much. I laugh when I think how often I doubted crafters when they said they actually enjoyed it! Sometimes you just need to give yourself some grace and keep trying. Thanks for this twist.
Good Morning, Beautiful Queen all I can say is "WOW" another beautiful creation on a budget 😊😇 I've done some before for Bible journaling but will be doing some again loved the painted spine. TFS I enjoy your videos. Blessings & Grace
Hi Sherry! Happy & Blessed Monday. I love covering comp books & the little ones too💕 I love how u did the spine, it’s something I never thought of doing🥰💕. I’ve made over comp books & given them as gifts & they’re always received w/love, & now this will make them even prettier🥰💕 love hugs blessings & prayers, Donna 🙏🥰💕
I love this project. I have been selling them for years at my juried craft shows of which I have a following for these. The only difference is I cover mine in fabric. These paper covered ones are simply beautiful and at craft shows will be nearly.....pure profit. Sherry, thank you for this great idea, a great craft show attention-getter. I hope we get to do shows again soon. Donna, in California.
Good morning Sherry, I just love this project. I made one of the little gift card holders w/envelope but haven't decorated it, but wanted to let you know I used the plastic snaps you had used in a previous tutorial months ago & it worked great! Have a wonderful & blessed day my friend!
Morning Sherry, Fun tutorial! Absolutely amazing and I loved it. Very "Noteworthy"! (Loved the pun). I enjoyed how you really did turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. Cool. 💙
Oh I “jones” for composition books. Love them. Can’t wait for summer sales and always snatch them up when they are 50 cents. I’ve decorated before but never liked the spines. I tried finding coordinating duct tape but never can find the right color. Great idea to paint the spine! Will try that. Might mod podge over the paint to help it not crack off after too many openings. I just bought some carta bella (Echo Park papers) Vintage packs that had some larger prints. Going to make a couple for some friends who are into antiques and everything vintage. They will love it! Tfs! Hugs from Ohio
Wow you really dressed up for the party! Absolutely great share. I see a little shabby chic inspiration. I’ve made many of these in fabric and lace. The scrapbooking paper is a new quick and easy idea. 👍🏽👩❤️👩💜👸🏽

Miss Sherry. Often times I am looking for crafting ideas, and of course, because I am subscribed, you come up on my page. Let me tell you, please; life has not been very enjoyable of late.
