Mr. Smack, The work you are doing on the Mach 1 reminds me of my Mach 1 I got in 1980. It was a 1973 Mach 1 Q code, 351 Cobra Jet. And like a thousand stories you have heard before, I sold it during tough times. But I sold it to one of my best friends and he STILL has it. So when I go back to my home town, I get to visit it. It was such a fun car. I can't imagine owning a Mustang that is not stick shift! Back to your vid. "Back in the day", one of the first things we did was change out the sound system. Your videos sure bring back a lot of good memories. Keep doing what you are doing!!!!
Thanks Hurk! That’s definitely one of the stories I hear often. Sounds like you had quite the car back in the day being a Q code. Love those cars. Thanks for the feedback on the video. Also, I see exactly why people would switch the stereo system out. Thanks for watching!
Same here. I really like that I don’t need to access it every time I want to use the BT function. I can just get in the car and the phone auto connects
Hi Smackey, thanks for the tip I am going to order one of those speakers. I expect the Ford engineers new that was a good place to put the speakers with the windshield acting as a deflector.
Hey David, I'm sure you will like the speaker. It seems to be a good upgrade for the speaker in that location. I can't wait until good weather and I can actually use the speaker and car again!
That's a good point. I ran a wire from the battery, through a fuse, to the positive side of the amplifier to power everything. I did not connect it to the original wiring.
The sound of a cammed Ford small block is music to my ears, so I bought a junk ford radio to fill the dash in my 69 fastback, but it doesn't do anything. Like the project though!
Won't happen, but for some reason if it does I'll keep you in mind. I'll check my basement later next weekend to see if I have any others. Is there a specific one you are looking for?

I like that smaller BT unit, the less-is-more approach. :)

Cool install! Simple yet effective! 👍
It sure is! Thanks Mitch!
It's amazing how audio technology has come along... Great install and Great video! 🏁🏁
It really is. I was surprised at the sound I could get from a single speaker in a dash. Thanks Tony!
Fantastic install video! You have one sweet ride! 👍
Thanks!! I’m really happy with the speaker now that it is spring and I can drive the car. Great product!!
Your channel is so underated. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Hamood. Appreciate it and I will!

Thanks man! I appreciate it with all the hard work that goes into these videos

Hey Jason. I will look into trying that out at some point this summer. Thanks for pointing it out! I have a pair of kicker 6x9s I’m not using.

Please add a part on how to connect power to original wiring. I'm lost lol

i really need to get the stereo working in my fox this year lol
Yea music is nice once and a while on the longer ride lol. I like to listen to the exhaust but sometimes it’s nice to drown out the rattles

I hear ya. I didn't have a speaker or radio until recently. I love the sound of the car. Let's see how much I use the radio lol thanks!
I need to do something like this for mine
It does make a big difference to the audio in the car. It was an upgrade well worth the money.
@SmackeysGarage Would it still work without the original radio? Cause mine just has static but all three speakers work
@@NifBac I haven't run the original radio in mine. It is just connected directly to the amplifier.
👍👍
What is the name of the small auto connect Bluetooth amplifier?
Wuzhi Sound Bluetooth Amplifier: It is linked in the description of the video.
If your ever in the mood to move on from the stock radio I would be interested.
