I believe Dareth has the elemental power of luck. There are several moments in the show where Dareth almost dies, but he has always been lucky enough to survive it all.
If i was in the writer's place,i would've given dareth a bigger role and make him an actual ninja. Like for example: before the team found out the samurai x is nya it was mysterious to them and they wanted to find out the identity of the samurai,i can imagine the brown ninja's first cameo being something like this,a scene where the ninja were at a threaten situation,then the brown ninja shows up and saves them all,then they try to figure out the identity of the brown ninja. I can imagine dareth's elemental powers being steam.
I hate how they treat him in this season. Bro really wanted to be useful and they fully ignor him. And also make fun of him by giving him "brown power". Maybe he not so good but maybe with a bit training he could get stronger and more useful. I mean in this season lloyd was just like dareth , he was powerless. Dareth just need a solid training and im pretty sure that he can be better than sora or anyone of the new kid in dragon rising.
Me and my dad both agree with this, we're being serious btw, we think Dareth is Stronger than Lloyd even before he got his powers taken away- 😭😭 I'm on the 11th season and its getting a little better but it still seems like Lloyd is just a wimpy dude that throws snotballs - he really degraded after season 8 started :/
I love how Hunted threw him a bone in letting him save Gayle and Vinny near the end. The guy's bumbling as ever, but he legit wants to help. Plus his humor tends to help with how bleak things were.
To be fair, Dareth has always been a positive character, and moreover, he has participated and tried to help in almost all key Ninjago events. Ninjaball Run, The Final Battle (where he played a key role in controlling the stone army), Battle in Corridor of Elders, Operation Land Ho, and participation in The Resistance. I don't understand why so many people underestimate him as a character.
