Nooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccceee LEZzzzzzzzz gooOOOoooo000oooOooo boi:) love these vlogs bro I heard from the grapevine the Old Standard Service spot me & my sis liked so much is getting a Greek tap and I found your channel. We were sold this system six months ago , we have it now, thought it was superb , except for last Saturday night. We were having an extremely busy night (finally) when the whole system went down. We were “toast” right in the middle of service. We couldn’t take orders , get tickets to the kitchen , or close out . Insane and horrible ... Our other restaurant at the other end of town had this issue and also other area restaurants suffered the same problems. We did have internet - so it wasn’t our high speed service provider . We are hoping to get clear answers today on why, after hours on the phone with Toast support over the weekend, we still don’t have answers.
I do not know but it sounds like some type of glitch in the system. Ive heard of these things from all cloud based products but have never personally experienced them. Hope it was a one time mishap.
Bill Totally recommend Toast and also you need to be using them for your payroll. Saves me so much time and money. BTW this was not a video that Toast paid me for it was just me having fun installing. Let me know if I can help in anyway.
That must be a new fee because they came out and installed for us. I would never do it any other way though. Pay the fee and have them trouble shoot and fix everything on the spot.
@@KostasLazanasThanks for the quick response Kostas. Yea its an extra 500$ for the extra service. There are 16 of us vendors in a food hall. Here's the letter Hi Johnny, If you feel comfortable enough with a little support from the onsite contractor, then I can switch this quote to a self install. I have other merchants who have purchased the additional remote install, which will provide individual support in addition to the onsite. I’m not sure how the onsite contractor will want to lay out the install for each vendor and for trainings, but it is only 2, 8 hour days for the 16+ merchants. Please let me know if you would like me to adjust the quote to a self install. Thank you again!
@@KostasLazanas I will consider that. I'm just going to be running a Pizzeria with it . Toast is required in the market because of a contract the landlord set up. We have no other options.
It's definitely better than Aloha or any other POS system out there right now. I've supported many POS system, and Toast is probably one of the best I've used, but it's not necessarily a fit for every restaurant.
@@rotimiedu3504 agreed. Toast is perfectly suited to people who like bad service, being lied to, being billed incorrectly (now three times in a row), and generally being jerked around. As for customers who like a good company to deal with, Toast isn’t the best fit.

Your work here just keeps getting better and better. Good on you and I am enjoying these
ive been to a few restraints that used hand held devices to take our orders, pretty cool and seemed very efficient.

We are thinking of buying toast for our taproom. Did you ever get an explanation?

I have a spot in Skagway, AK. Hit me up for some local food and brew. Thanks for the quick video
Thanx bro! Hope business is doing good for you!
Did you do a self install or pay the extra for the remote install? Thanks if you can help

Toast is terrible. Buyer beware
I’ve been using them for one year. For me it’s been phenomenal.
