I started replaying MGS5 yesterday. MGS4 may be my favorite game ever. Burning Crusades was my favorite gaming experience (killed Illidan before nerf).
I am really hoping they expand on 5. I just played it all the way through again and I wanted more missions. The last 10 missions were just duplicates. They could add a huge world and keep the exact same system. Building up mother base was so unbelievably satisfying and it drove you to keep playing even after you beat the game. I spent all day trying to get S soldiers.
the game expands on the first metal gear from 1987 so no there’s never going to be another metal gear game… probably ever. A literal circle that’s been completed.
I wouldn't say that! Metal Gear Solid Shadow Moses was the best of them all. Just the story alone is off the chart. MGSV was not finished, a lot of in-game content and story was still on the table in process, but Konami said fuck it.
It’s so sad that they had all the elements to make one of the best games of all time and somehow botched it. Kojima and Konami working together bringing us Metal Gear Solid was the greatest feat any humans have collectively made together. Nothing will ever beat it no matter what. They always outdo themselves and go beyond in their storytelling. Thanks Kojima! I hope the new MGS from here on out at least keeps the Kojima spirit alive and inspiration. Thanks for putting MGSV out there to those who may not have had the pleasure. Maybe just maybe they will release vol.2 of the collection with mgsv tpp kojima cut (including chapter 3)
How cool would that be😳
@@dice1378 the master collection is making me want to play this again
I started replaying MGS5 yesterday. MGS4 may be my favorite game ever. Burning Crusades was my favorite gaming experience (killed Illidan before nerf).
This game is an utter masterpiece. I couldn’t believe how many people disliked it. That’s so odd.
I remember playing this Dozens and dozens of times in anticipation for phantom pain. I was so excited.
They could release new stories and environments and never touch the gameplay and I'd play them all.
the game expands on the first metal gear from 1987 so no there’s never going to be another metal gear game… probably ever. A literal circle that’s been completed.
tbh duplicate missions were pretty fun too
The opening scene shows Snake waiting by the laundry machines for his clothes 👀🤣 you can’t unsee it now 😜
Bro finally, I’ve been waiting for you to play any of the MGS’s play 4 and snake eater next!!!!!!
"You have grenades!" 55:25
I was just playing this earlier didn’t expect you to upload this of all games its a masterpiece just like the rest of the MGS series
I hope this channel never ends and keeps spreading happiness.❤😊
Whoever is reading this comment, I wish you success, health, love and happiness
Same to you luv ❤
"You get extra points for that too!" 33:12
One of the greatest, most rewarding and replayable games of the era.
MGSV is a masterpiece.
I wouldn't say that! Metal Gear Solid Shadow Moses was the best of them all. Just the story alone is off the chart. MGSV was not finished, a lot of in-game content and story was still on the table in process, but Konami said fuck it.
I spit my drink out when you threaten to throw Chico into the ocean if he mouthed off
I love metal gear solids 👌🏾
Golden standard
Shows that art direction is everything and a consistent style can still look good years after release.
It’s so sad that they had all the elements to make one of the best games of all time and somehow botched it. Every time I see the amazing gameplay I can’t believe they didn’t deliver a cohesive and amazing story to go with it. It still creates fantastic emotions but every moment I am reminded of what it could have been
Whats wrong with the Ground Zeroes story? If you're talking about TPP my only gripe is Snake being a mute and the cut content with Liquid Snake.
@@Slapnuts9627 Nah man, the entire last part of the game is a huge letdown, no story worth mentioning and then it just...ends
@@elqord.1118 Eh I don't get you tbh, Snake being a double made perfect sense and was eluded to since the beginning
@@Slapnuts9627I think the worst part of MGSV is that we never got the 51st Mission, as from what we could see in concept, was basically going to be the craziest mission and a proper ending to the game.
@@DaGalaxyBoy Its definitely unfortunate, now Eli is just running around with a walking nuclear bomb and there ain't shit to do about it lmaoo
I’m still lost as to why he never did a full playthrough this game is dope 🔥
Im guessing his cod brain caught up on him
Nothing comes close to this game bro..
FYI: when snake is looking for paz's pulse your joystick will vibrate according her pulse.
Who's still watching in 2024😄
I'm still watching in 2024
0:00 I'll recognize that chopper sound anytime, anywhere
u look like drake
😅
MGS will always be my fav game, i remember playing the ps1 game then first game got mgs2 on ps2 and played for a while weekend straight, one of my best gaming memories
Thanks Hollow, because of you I got the itch to go back and play ground zeroes to see how well it holds up. Finished it an hour last night and now ready to repurchase the phantom pain!
YES HOLLOW! If you end up doing all of MGSV, I swear, I will watch all of it. I'm here for the good long playthroughs
Oh my god here I thought my love for hollow wouldnt grow... AND YOU ARE PLAYING ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FRANCHISES. From the bottom of my heart thank you.
this is the anticipated Splinter Cell game that never came out.
Gaming industry will never be the same without a new Metal Gear solid game to be hyped up for.
This was, by and large, the best stealth game. In many a regard still is to day and Ground Zeroes was really above and beyond. I´ve played it so many times over and it still ticks all the boxes. MGSV is great in total, but in reality, G.S. was quite amazing on its own.
The intro to mgs5 is the greatest videogame intro ever!
For me, Metal gear Solid V: The phantom Pain was a blast. My issue was after I had reached a certain point in the game I didn't know what to do. Its probably just me
Besides fob stuff there's nothing
this game run smoothly even on low end pc, but still it has an amazing graphic.. i remember my pc cant even run dragon age but it run this very smoothly
Sheesh even Snake is like “when will this guy stop yapping so we can get going already…” 😅 just kidding great video dude
Metal Gear Solid & Assassin Creed
My life right there
Just began to play this as well. Hope it sticks to my memory. Love your vids Hollow
It's amazing to see how much they refined from this game to prepare for Phantom Pain. Love the playthrough btw!
I have been playing Sniper Elite 5 because the controls are similar and you can choose how you play each map; like Snake or just spy it up and mix both action and stealth. We need more games like MGS that gets you lost into the gameplay and story alike and not one or the other.
Imo MGSV GZ and PP are the ultimate MGS, open world ability with deep gameplay and customization, plus the in game economy system, I have been playing MGS since MGS 2, 3 even the PSP MGS, I didn't play MGS 4 since I didn't buy PS3.
Finally!!!! I’ve been waiting for you to start on MGS. Sons of liberty is my favorite but this one was good as well.
