Mishti doi is a fermented caramelized curd/yogurt, it is very popular in Bangladesh as well as in the India states of West Bengal, Tripura, Assam, and Odisha. It is one of the most popular desserts in Kolkata. Many believe that making mishti doi is very difficult, In this recipe video I have shown step by step easy to follow process of making delicious mishti doi
In the new normal, we have all had to learn and do things on our own. Be it cooking our favorite Mishti Doi or maintaining our home.
This effort has given way to a lot of hacks as well. One such hack for my kitchen is the @godrejhit Anti-Roach Gel that takes care of the cockroaches in my kitchen.
It's very simple and easy to use and is odourless. All I have to do is put 20 dots around my kitchen and it's effective for 45 days. It's as good as pest control, so I don't have to worry about people coming from the outside too.

Ingredients:
• Milk - 750 ml
• Curd - 1/2 cup
• Sugar - 1 cup
Recipe:
• Put the curd in cotton cloth and hang it for 15-20 minutes to make hung curd
• Add 1/2 cup sugar in a pan and let it caramelise on low flame
• Add Boiled milk and sugar and mix it
• Boil it for 5-7 minutes on low flame, keep on stirring.
• Turn off the flame and let it cool down a bit
• Whisk the hung curd in a bowl and add it in boiled and caramelised milk
• Gently mix it and pour it in earthen pot or any pot
• Cover it let it rest overnight to set
• Next day, bake it for 15 minutes and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
• Super delicious mishti doi is ready to serve.
