I am descended from Warm Springs Chiricahua Apache chief's Victorio and Mangas Coloradas and Loco, am also descended from 2 Chiricahua Apache US Scouts Charles Martine Sr and Paul Guydelkon Sr. I come from Carl Mangas and Seth-Mooda so i have alot of Mangas' DNA and live on an Apache reservation today.
What I find interesting is their clothes, the textiles, how they were manufactured. Was knitting and crocheting known. How did they prepare wool and possibly cotton to weave..........And how did they treat animal skins to this beautiful leather.
When people are allowed to live in a village without school they learn by time and need how to make everything. These people like all village and native people were skilled at life and family, what white church people said about them being savages was wrong. They loved the earth and knew from natural thought that the earth had more then enough to help them take care of their tribes, and they didn’t have school to slow them down and interrupt the life lessons they needed to pass on to their children.lts much wiser to live as a village and teach your children all these lessons, l wish we could go back to this life and stop polluting the earth.

Both our two bands were almost erased from history during the Camp Grant Massacre. Our numbers dwindled so much our bands no longer exist and we had no choice but to merge with the San Carlos Apache. Not many people know their bands as it is lost knowledge.

Other co- workers on the job said he is a Black man, he does not look like a Native American.
