To be honest, it’s pretty freaking amazing to see what John has done since he has made his comeback at his age. Absolutely phenomenal
Definitely wasn't expecting that. Brzenk better leave Voevoda and Ongar the Baev alone lol
Honestly, I feel bad for John...
@@ArmwrestlingForNobody yea me too.. I hate to see him retire but I really hate seeing him not retiring and getting destroyed in every match :/
@@tallpaulhutchensjr.Power of contracts
@@thecouchperspective lol yea they gonna be bad for sure
All John's impressive wins he racked up after his comeback. Leading up to the round 1 domination of Ongarbaev. That was the absolute Pinnacle. It's been ALL downhill since then.
John doesn't need to prove anything at this point.
Cant blame his age. Todd is old too.
In Armwrestling years John is like 15 yrs older ..Todd came in at 35 while John was already 17-18 yrs into his career at that age..there's a reason Todd can train like crazy and has none of the health issues that John does
@@karuonline3294 the meat riding is crazy
except todd is three years younger and never retired, he is constantly training unlike john brzenk who always have to come out of retirement for specific matches
@@S.T.W.007 try again
@@Mochalatte69 yeah . 5 yrs away from the sport is a lot ..a comeback at his age wad never going to be easy
My thoughts: John would have done muuuuuch better a year ago. He was still motivated. He hadn't started his losing streak, he hadn't been hit by several bouts of covid/colds and he hadn't havd a snowmobile accident. Besides, John just isn't able to train the way Todd trains because he hurts too much, so he has really been struggling to gain strength for the match without also gaining pain. With that said, congratulations to Todd. You clearly deserved the fruit of your labour and perhaps John should hand Voevoda over to you for now. There is no point in seeing John lose again any time soon. He needs to build up slowly again after a rough year.
You're more hopeful than I'm, Leah..I don't think time off is going to help much..his body is breakin down and that was évident in the fact that he couldn't recover from his snowmobile accident injuries for months..there are too many things to overcome against the top guys..
@@karuonline3294 You could well be right, but I've never been quick at recovering, so it's not always age. John is just not 'professional' in the sense that he doesn't have a team of trainers and physiotherapist etc around him making him fit for fight. He just asks Renee to give him a rub and she just can't rub deep enough. 😪
@@LeahRobb true..not always but it does seem like a part of a pattern with John..he also expressed surprise at the amount of time it was taking for him to heal which means it's not always been like that for him
John can still destroy 99% of the pullers out there. Toddzilla is a step a head now in power. No shame for either man if they lose a match. They are still great competitors. Nobody posting here at 59 years of age can beat either of these guys.
It's obvious that John is injured
Losing to contracts like that is simply ridiculous
I honestly don’t think John’s been training very hard this year.. especially the last 5-6 months after losing to Irakli and Denis.. just hasn’t seemed to have the fire and motivation.. even though John barely lost to Irakli his arm was looking the biggest and strongest sense his comeback but after that loss and Denis I think he lost motivation and just hasn’t been training as hard as he was last year.. would be nice to see him get motivated and really go at it again..
he tried but his body just isnt up to the task anymore..he can't train anywhere near as hard as most guys do today
Called it. Todd wins
John Brzenk I'm angry. He's not training. He doesn't take care of his health and loses the match.
It is what it is...
no way...@@ArmwrestlingForNobody
I agree he needs to retire if he isn't gonna train and try to get better. No way should toddzilla have won like that.
I understand you, but he did mention that he has been trying to train, but then his shoulder starts clicking and popping, and his wrist is still not fully recovered, and by the time he is sort of pain free again, he has lost the strength he gained. But I agree that he should not take any more top, top matches until/unless he is in his best shape (for his age). I don't want to see John at the slaughter house. Had Voevoda over to Todd for now...
John should retire at this point, no shame in that.
