You can tell Devon been pulling for a bit while John was relatively fresh. Devon was tired from just trying to hold John going to work, John could’ve fought way harder but was just practice from two of the best. Devon gave him everything to be in that position to hold on to John

Now he is 100% commited to armwrestling specific training, his hand is levels above anything he had before because the tendons and ligaments are the strongest at this age, and they has the most effect on hand and elbow integrity. Considering that his style is all about hand control he is 10000% in the best shape of his life, maybe not in a hook and gym strenght (obviously) but if we are speaking about overall armwrestling performance, he is for sure

Yea sure your muscles are the strongest between your age of 25 -35 or something like that but in armwrestling it is vastly different because the main strenght is in your tendons and ligaments, they are the one responsible for stabilisation of your arm and your hand and when you are young even tho your muscles are big and strong your tendons are elastic and not very tough, sure a young guy can cup a lot and do a big back pressure lift but nothing of that matters when you get hit from such strange angles like in armwrestling, when your arm is goin side ways its mainly tendons that stop your arm, Also how much you can cup does not mean that your wrist is that strong, what makes your wrist strong is all the connection inside tightening up so much that it feels like a rock So if you think about it, having just strong muscles is of course important but that alone wont give you the connection to your arm that you need to develop over the years, so majority of your power will be lost, but when your arm and hand are stabilized very well you can very easily apply the pressures that you want Thats why strongman and other big muscle freaks are never any where nearly as good in armwrestling as someone would think, even after a year of practice and development of pronation and rising they still cant do much and it is exactly for that reason, no tendons = very hard to appy your muscles on to your opponent. Of course its different for all people, natty people that are were not very carefull with training might as well have so much pain everywhere that they dont have anything on their youg self, but in majority of cases a guy should be good until his 40-50, still there are offten exceptions Also dont worry my friend I am not a devon fanboy xD, he is cool dude but i wont attack you for saying something about him

In or out of the straps it doesn’t matter, they are on two different planes of existence. Devon has evolved and keeps evolving in his arm wrestling career and John is no match anymore. And yes John is still a strong old guy. Respect

Armwrestling has straps. This is reality. Just cause you put a strap on doesn't mean your not armwrestling anymore it just means your strapped to the person your armwrestling. 😂

I really got into slurping the melted part when it dawned on me all of a sudden that these two, Devon and John, were having an absolutely titanic match! I thought they'd been at it for way longer than any match I'd ever seen before. As my mind was about to be blown away by two titans having an epic match....I realised it was a UA-cam short....on a repeat loop..
