Love it. Princes mom Mattie was my Dad's friend and my social worker in High school such a lovely woman. She really made an impact on my life. I miss her.
Thank for this, Danny. I saw Guy Pratt talking about his bass part on Like a Prayer the other day and, looking up the credits, I saw Prince’s name. I was curious. Perfect timing! Cheers.
@ Agreed, Danny. I’m subscribed to Rockonteurs. I love your channel. Keep up the great work! Prince is a legend. I was lucky enough to see both him and Michael Jackson live at very close quarters. Greetings from Brazil!
Excellent stuff, Danny. Love these insights. Did you ever get time to imagine what Prince might have played as a guitar contribution to We Are The World?
I too wonder, that was during a huge peak for both of them though, I'm just curious to what they would have accomplished with this being released...it may or may not have been a huge hit...it's a great song regardless...@@dannyeddyguitar
@@dannyeddyguitar Some of my friends were fans, i did politely listen her albums, yet i never got into her stuff...but this one surprised me, so i read the credit (vinyl have bigger packaging) and it was Prince, and i think he did have more input than credited...
I appreciate the respect you give Prince.
Thanks so much
Great you've brought this out. Only the top Prince 'fans' know about his contributions to Madonna's album.
Nice job!
Thanks heaps, Tony! Yes - I was only kind of half aware of this stuff!
thank you! so much packed into 12mins!!
Glad you liked it!

Wow, JoAnn! That's incredible! Sometimes it's hard from all the way down here in southern Australia to believe that these people were real.
Thank for this, Danny.

Cheers, Damian. Yeah, what a legend Guy is, hey! I love his Rockonteurs with Gary.

@@damianrf6309 Lucky!! I never saw MJ. But had great seats for Prince in the mid 90s here in Australia. Amazing!

@@WW-cc3td Guy played on the track “Like a Prayer.”
You are really great at this
YOU are really kind!
There's some tasty little licks in here 👌🏻
Total eye opener for me, Mark!

Thanks!! Yes, I have thought about it - especially as I recently watched the We Are The World doco. But... that's all I've done so far, haha!
I knew about at least 3 of these... I don't remember "keep it together" but yeah...
I was oblivious to all of this!
great video, I was hoping to someone to talk about prince in this album
Thanks Lucas. Glad ya liked it!
Heyy…..long time, bro! What about your vintage Honher tele? This Fender sounds great too! Give us more Prince guitar parts! Thank you 4 all, bro!!
Heyyy! Thanks for checking back in. I had to eventually give that Hohner back to it's owner. I miss it severely!
Love Song would have been a huge hit, video, live performance, honestly should have been the second single from the album...
I'm not sure... I wonder.

her only decent album.
TBH I haven't listened to her albums, only single releases.
