I attached pictures to my eBay case comparing the fake with the real, going through the points of why I knew i was sent a knockoff (logo stamp was wrong, dimensions were off, materials were plastic instead of leather or canvas, etc.). It also helped me that the seller had 0 transactions so I guess they figured he had no credibility. Message me on ig if you need more help!

Hmm I found this same card holder on Poshmark that's blue and seems to pass all of the tests this video did. The only concern is that the seller says they have no box or dust cloth. Also a really good price too so I'm kind of skeptical

yeah on the canvas? should it be under the embossed tag or the opposite side? I'm looking at one now that looks v good and like the real one but the go yard name painted on is on the same side
In my experience, the signature on the canvas tends to be in the middle of the 'back' of the card holder, which would be on the opposite side from the Goyard stamp. I'm not sure if that varies depending on the age of the piece, but all of the ones I've owned were made that way.
Some Goyard wallets don't have the logo at all. I bought mine about 10 years ago in blue, and when I went back to buy another item I took out my wallet and noticed the missing logo. So I panicked. But knowing I bought it from them (Paris) the salmon assured me that not all small wallets have the logo because the piece of canvas is so large, sometimes the artisans just cut a piece off it, without the logo. In fact, he said mine would be a collectible!!! Also, in some products the logo may not be centered. It is because the logo is spread across 20cm vertically, and 18 cm horizontally.
You get what you pay for guys. There is low quality replicas and high quality actual mirror replicas. If you’re going to buy fakes buy the good stuff. What’s the point in having it if people can tell just by glancing?

easiest way to spot fake in an instant is looking at the Y's, if they arent touching then most probably they fake
Goyard is easy to spot fakes due to the low quality replicas.
