Plasma cutter,o/a torch, zip disc or hackzall lol. No idea and that's why I struggle Everytime I work on a vehicle. Did manage to diagnose gf car with a misfire and get that fixed.. ended up being bad ignition coil.
Heat up the bung threads cool it with ultra lube work it back and forth so it don't strip from the inside out and if it does Mac tools makes a nice rethead tool just for that try that man its worked for me
you probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks :)
Man that was a really good job and I know this will help someone for sure. Your videos are entertaining, informative, and you give clear non condescending directions. Thanks for all you do brother.
Brother, your videos are so awesome. The production quality is getting so good, and I love your content. It takes a man to say that if you aren't able or comfortable, pay somebody. You are quickly becoming my favorite channel!
Thanks for your support brother it means a lot to me. It definitely does and a lot of guys won't admit they need or ask for help but I see nothing wrong with it.
On Ebay you can buy replacement O2 sensor bungs, many are available already beveled for installation on pipe. These are around $4. Also available are bungs with other shapes and angles.
excellent!!! never thought of cutting the section out to get the sensor off. then just welding it back on. i dont weld but i think i could just put in a small section of flared pipe in between. again excellent idea!! tks
Outstanding video. I recently tackled the front left O2 sensor on my son's 1998 Ranger. It was a bitch, but got it out using PB Blaster penetrating catalyst and a wrench. Entire job cost him 30 bucks for the replacement sensor.
😂😂 what's funny is one guy was saying I was sponsored by Milwaukee because the Dewalt drill died and I said the Milwaukee was better but little does he know I own both and like I told him I'm just giving my honest opinion regardless of brand.
Instead of welding in a new bung, you could cut the o2 sensor off flush with the bung, drill out the center with a 16.5mm bit and tap with a M18 1.5mm tap and you're back in the game. Incidentally, if you get the o2 sensor out, stripping out the threads, you could drill out the rust, stick weld some material over the threads (or whats left of them), then drill and tap that.
I usually pay for oil change. I can watch and 2$ more than just oil and filter. Just Make sure u can watch at Walmart if u go that route. I know I know but I can shop and get it done at once and with kids that matters
grate video lots of grate info and tips on removing a sensor. I thought about maybe welding something on to it and using that like a handle to turn it out
if its that bad and your on a budget, cut the wires, find I good spot, drill a new hole, weld in an o2 bung and just relocate it, that would be my answer, lil goddy, yes, but allot easier
Actually that long socket won't help you there is a much shorter ""socket wrench"" bout 10 buck's from carid that's a lot more help n it's long enough handle you can get a bite on it or if you need a cheater bar (which I wouldn't recommend) as stated before don't get in a hurry use heat n very good lube (beeswax is much better) just for grace make certain you use antiseise putting sensors back in incase the new 1s fail just saying
I'm about to drill a hole in mine and try putting a screwdriver thru it and turning it like that,300 to do that ,u could of bought a whole new exhaust smh
No idea, call me when u need copper lines ran, water heaters installed and connected or any steel pipe welded it's out of my elements.. why im subbed to so many car guys lol... Don't hate y'all wanna know how to weld to
Do you have any tips for getting a stuck O2 sensor out?

Great intro brother. I have struggled with many exhausts and O2 sensors.
Me too lol. Thanks brother.
This is the extremest of all the extreme. Thanks for the training!

Outstanding video. I recently tackled the front left O2 sensor on my son's 1998 Ranger. It was a bitch, but got it out using PB Blaster penetrating catalyst and a wrench. Entire job cost him 30 bucks for the replacement sensor.
9:00 in and you get the funk out AND a grinder? Rich and Nick would be proud.

Put a hose clamp on the socket so it doesn't spread
Wish I could weld. That’s the one thing I have never attempted on my own.
What do u wanna learn? Check my channel out
He's a good guy and a great welder you should chexk him out if you get a few minutes Trucker88 I subbed to him.
I used a pipe wrench with a floor jack handle as a cheater bar after soaking the 02 sensor overnight with WD-40.
Love the intro bro, u could have been a welder😂

It's close in price just to pay for an oil change so i can't blame you there lol.

Great
If I didn't give my best work to my customers I wouldn't have any customers that dude gives us mechanics a bad name
Don't get under your vehicle without safety glasses. I had a piece of rust fall in my eye and had to go to the ER to get it removed.

The beginning of the video is how I am rn
Lol at the cussing spree at the beginning
This is the worst situation you could be in with a 02 sensor
That dude that welded it on didnt do a good weld job omg
Lol at the muffler bearing
