Phenomenal! So heartfelt! Got the ugly cry going on again! Trace is the national spokesperson for "THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT" I love his patriotism and devotion. I appreciate you Craig for the deeply touching respect you have for our country. I'm extremely proud of and respect you for the stand up kind of man you are! Your country and your family are very blessed to have you! The world "honorable" comes to mind. I'm so very glad that I found your channel about a year and a half ago. I love your content. Blessings and love from South Georgia USA ♥️😀🍟
Amazing song. Really shows what war is like. 😞 My late father served in Vietnam. War is horrible, and so many sacrificed their lives to keep others safe. Thank all for their service. 🫡 🇺🇸
I love how he truly respects the men and women of the military. He supports them when they come home. He works closely with wounded warriors. But we all need to support them when they come home. Not just with words 3x's a year for those holidays
If you ever come to the states, wear a hat that say Veteran and see the reception you get, on the streets, in restaurants. You will have total strangers coming up to shake your hand and thanking you for your service or saluting you. For a lot of us, this is very important to remember. Love the way you respect our vets. Right back at you, thank you for your service.🇺🇸🇬🇧
I'm sorry, but just read your comment and had to tell you that what you said is so true. My veteran hubby was in the States on exercise and was in uniform. Many people came to shake his hand, thanked him for his service and when they found out he was Canadian, well a group of people approached to say the same thing and began asking him all kinds of questions. At first, he didn't know how to react as it hadn't happened to him before. Thank you for saying this.
Thank you for reacting to this!! Go back and watch the Marine talking prior “It’s not about the war, it’s about the warrior “ Another great military song from him is “I’m still a soldier “. I really appreciate your appreciation of our military, I was an active duty USMC from 93-97, thank you for your service 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Thanks for doing this! It's the West Point Glee Club. West Point is the Army's Military Academy. Established in 1802. Sadly, the bloodiest battles and war that America has fought we fought each other. Trace also does songs called Semper Fi, dedicated to the Marines and one called the Empty Chair, which is something that our veteran organizations like the VFW (veterans of foreign wars) Amvets and American Legion do, it's a lone small table sitting by itself set for 1 person with military and American flags on it.
Trace performed with the West Point Cadet Glee Club. As cadets of the United States Military Academy, they are officers in training for the US Army. As a member of the USMA class of 2017 and of the Cadet Glee Club, thank you for such a heartfelt reaction. Though this performance was before my time with the Glee Club, I had several opportunities to perform with Trace at later dates and I can confirm that his care for service men and women, and veterans is unparalleled! Thanks again, and keep up the amazing content!
I hadn't heard this before. I made it to Vietnam before it hit me that a loved one has served in every war...then the tears couldn't be stopped. But that's not unusual with a song by Trace. Thanks for doing this one.
Just recently discovered your site. I Have never subscribed to a site before. Love watching your reactions to the videos. I have never heard this song before either... Love the acknowledgement of the Civil War Soldiers. I have relatives that died in that war... Thank you Veterans....a heartfelt Salute to you all for your sacrifices and bravery.
Check out his song. You're gonna miss this . and one of his first songs he ever did. Every light in the house is on. He has so many songs hard to choose just one.
That’s the Civil War between the North and south tore this country apart then WWII then Vietnam war Then the Middle East we lost so many men we loved this song makes me cry lost my husband in the Middle East
I'm sorry for you loss while being grateful for those who serve. I'm named for my Uncle who paid that same price near the end of fighting in German during WW II. I hope that somehow you have found piece and know that to many of us your husband was a true hero.
I am the proud daughter of the Air Force veteran of 27 1/2 years, and I can truly say my heart goes out to you and all of those families that have lost loved ones who paid the ultimate price. just note to some of us we know the cost of our freedom and I know it’s hard as it was to be handed the flag from my dad. I can’t imagine what it would be like with that being your husband.
One of the most powerful songs I've heard! The choir is the United States Military Academy Band & Glee Club, members of the United States Army. Brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. Thank you for your service as well my friend!
Chills every time I hear this usually accompanied by tears. And how can you not see so clearly the vivid picture of wartime that the lyrics paint? So powerful. My fav of all Trace’s patriotic songs! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wonderful reaction the choir was the West point choir was point military academy choir. And this is one of those songs that I start with dry eyes and I finished with tears every time. Is wonderful song. Another song in Spain you might enjoy is Trace Adkins semper Fi.
If you ever come to the US and if ya'll have veteran hats of your military wear that hat when you vote here and almost everyone will come up to you and shake your hand and will thank you for your service!!!!!!!! My grandmother raised me going up to veterans and shaking their hands and to tell them "thank you for your service " and now I am raising my grandchildren to do the same thing!!!!!!!
Thank you for this reaction. The first part of the song is talking about the US Civil War. Both of my Great Grandfathers fought for the Union, one of which had 4 brothers that fought also, of the 5 brothers, only 3 came home. God bless all who served and are serving, including their families who also carry a burden of having their loved ones in harms way, day after day.
I love Trace! He is from a little town close to me! This song really gets me because I’ve had a family members serve in every war and even lost a few. He honors them so much.
Another great military appreciation song by Trace is "I'm Still a Soldier". You definitely need to check that one out. Being you served yourself, I believe you will be able to relate to the song. If you're looking for something on the other end of the Trace spectrum, check out "One Hot Mama" and "Chrome". Both are really fun songs and the videos are great.
What an Amazing song! Trace Adkins does such wonderful, gut wrenching, songs in honor of our military and those who have fallen. I have had military in every generation of my family, and some are in Arlington. Please add two more of his songs - Still a Soldier and Empty Chair.
CMA is the Country Music Awards. The West Point Glee Club is one of the U.S. Military Academy’s most visible cadet organizations. For over one hundred years, its members have touched audiences around the world with a model depiction of the Corps of Cadets through live performance in the nation’s finest concert halls, national network and feature film appearances, and CD and DVD recordings. The Glee Club enhances life at West Point through its traditional and ceremonial duties, and represents West Point and the U.S. Army at official events.
Hello blue eyes your fur baby is absolutely beautiful just lost my little dog of 20 years old they will never break your heart till theirs stops beating 💓 love your channel ❤
Thank You for your reaction and for your service, as I'm sitting here responding to this song I have tears coming down my face, I totally agree with everything with you it was a very powerful song,Thank You for posting it for us ❤️ hope you and your family have a blessed evening 🙏
I'm so glad you're enjoying Country music. It is ofc my favorite, and probably the only true American genre. Country music hasn't always gotten the respect and appreciation it deserves here at home, but it's made a huge leap in the last 30-40 years and is bigger than ever. It's nice to see it making an impression overseas as well. Trace is one of the greatest with an amazing voice, and has quite the catalog! Like many Country singers, he sings about real life, usually from a personal perspective....so you never know what you're gonna get. It may make you smile, laugh, cry, or even ponder the meaning of life. No matter what, it will leave an impression.
The West Point Glee Club. My son graduated from there. Watch their video of "Sing Second" where they sing the Alma mater of West Point where part of the words of their school song are "Be thou at peace".
Say a prayer for peace. Let us lay down our guns. Set our spirits free.....American, or British, or Australian, our souls cry out for the same thing. Living or dearly departed.
You missed the beginning when the wounded soldier Lt Andrew Kynner (hope I heard right) (wounded in Afghanistan) talks about the Wounded Warrior Program sitting in his wheelchair on stage and tells the crowd to remember that it's not about the war but the warrior ... and then Trace starts to sing. Wow. Powerful. Thanks from Canada.
Trace is phenomenal ...he and Toby Keith have the best military songs ever...this is such a powerful but beautiful song...he has a song called Every light in the house is on....you would probably like it.
Trace has the best voice for story songs. It grabs you and holds you. This one is so hard to listen to if you understand it. A history lesson of our brave brave Hero's. Your Gonna Miss This is a good song.
If you watch this video and listen to the words especially when the military chores comes in and don't get choked up you need help! Love our veterans every chance you get.
Just so you know brother I love your reactions to our country music here in the south you have a wide open invitation I hope one day you can come here and experience our culture for yourself I think you would fit right in we love everybody down here bring the wife and kids make sure you bring some bigger pants cuz you going to need them cuz you going to eat so much down here you ain't even going to be able to walk really though we would love to have you so get your butt on the plane and come on over when you do though make sure you video I'm in North Carolina I can tell you best places to eat but just do a whole tour of the South you'd be amazed at how different each Southern state is don't go up North you stay down here we got you
As others have mentioned, I also recommend Semper Fi which he wrote to honor his USMC neighbor - or for something more light-hearted, try Mind on Fishin', or for sweet, Just Fishin' (his daughter is in the video with him)
If you haven’t done so yet, would you react to “Wayfaring Stranger” by Trace? The version where he’s singing it on stage. It’s a great song. My favorite.
I love that your doing songs that honor our Military. This one is phenomenal, brings me to tears. Check out TIM MCGRAW 🎵If You’re Reading This🎵 The Soldier Song 🎶

All veterans are our protectors. God bless your husband for being one of them!
If you'll notice, as the greatest sign of respect, Trace removes his cowboy hat for that last part. ❤🇺🇸

For fun - Trace & Blake - Hillbilly Bone.

He does a ton for vets!! It's not for show!! He really feels it in heart & helps constantly!! He's always kept that in front of the music!! Amen!!
Check out his song. You're gonna miss this . and one of his first songs he ever did. Every light in the house is on. He has so many songs hard to choose just one.
As a veteran, I feel this song all the way to my bones. I know you also served so I think you understand what I am trying to say. ❤❤❤
Starts video: See you over here smiling.
Me knowing the song: You about to wipe that smile off.

In the very beginning of this there is a solder who introduced him and gave a touching story
The Allegiance that all soldiers have to their country and to their fellow warriors! So many have died for our freedoms! May we never forget!!

One of my favorites the line 21 and scared to death gets me every time I hear it
I have heard him live. Besides artistic differences you can't tell a deference. Every artist live will add extra words or change the melody a little.
Check out his play list he has some great songs! And he is great in concert too!
The United States Military Academy at West Point. I'm a proud father of a West Point grad and Army Infantry Officer.
