- We ride up to a friend in Koekenaap, about 300kms from us on the West Coast near Lutzville. On this first day, we encounter some mud like we have never seen before and the sports that goes along with traversing these trails. I just cannot do that kind of mud. You guys are crazy to do it but equally such skilled riders. Travers simply cannot say no to a challenge.

Was a nailbiter for sure, but the bikes did pretty well and then the bonus is the 300km freeway ride later, on the way home, it's a breeze on a big bike.

Mud is no one’s friend! How was your radiators after that?
Surprisingly ok, probably because we hit heavy rain and clean water on the Freeway sections afterwards, before the mud had a chance to dry.
