It's always lovely to see the tribute to Michael on show, and the stadium looks fantastic. Im up in Liverpool for a couple of nights this weekend for our trip to Anfield so i'll pop up on Sunday and have a look about. And yes, the offer of a beer is still open, Albert Dock Friday if you fancy a tea time one in the Pump House :)
The missing piece to the board walk Nick is a black fascia board just above the water line towards the Northwest corner if you follow the edge just above the water. SS sky's always going on about it bit of OCD.
Thanks for another great video Nick. Difficult weather conditions but the stadium still looks superb. As you said in your video, the 'mess' piled up in the water is an eyesore and hopefully not going to be a regular problem going forward.
You can't argue with the weather. On the plus side, it shows how confident you've become as a drone pilot, most would abort in those conditions. Well done mate.
Has any building ever come in for such scrutiny before? Every component has been analysed multiple times by every fan. Great job Nick. My own latest bit of OCD are the Map signs all around the fan plaza. Wrong orientation. All the signs are 90 degrees out of whack. If you put "you are here" blurbs on each them, my wife's head will explode.
Nick, well done for persevering. The missing section of CAPPING BEAM (the name for the vertical fascia of the boardwalk) is right at the NW edge of the Lower Promenade (aka boardwalk/decking). It means you can actually see in underneath the horizontal composite decking, when looking from the West Quay/over the DNOC. @ 3:51 mins, it looks as though the process for the dismantling of the LoR offices is as follows: 1) Add the protective sheath to the next container on the open side and roof. 2) Attach the container to the crane and lift it onto the black steel plinth between the crane and the group of ornage-jacketed contractors to the rear of the crane. 3) Complete the wrap around of the sheath and attching binds around the container to keep it in place. 4) Back up a trailer and lift the sheathed container onto it. Drive it away.
Hi Nick Good vid considering the conditions I’ve emailed you a couple of stills from your vid where you couldn’t see the missing untidy pieces Maybe a bit confusing as it’s the fascia (spelling) not the actual boardwalk, I couldn’t remember the exact words Graeme
Great vid Nick thank you for all you have done over the years. Been absolutely amazing and from a Kiwi here in NZ, it was truly incredible to see. Just one question, why do some Liverpudlians use a "D" in words that have "th" "the", "there" etc? I often wonder where that originated from.
Play misty for me brave man nick to be out on such a foggy night good result for the bhoys tonight and hopefully another winning performance from the toffees this weekend 🏐🍀🇮🇪👍🏻C. F. C.
I might have missed someone else asking this in the past but will there not be any blue lights going along the north stand? I love looking at the stadium lit up at night when I pass on the train, but always wondered why the north is not lit up? COYB!
Great video as always Nick . Do you if they are going to have the blue edging all around the patch or just as it is around the North, East and South stands
Hi, I wonder why Everton Way is now not equidistant from the two end white steel uprights. It’s about 12 foot offset towards the east stand now, may look odd from the tv aerial footage when events are on. The black fascia panel that is missing is below the boardwalk towards the north stand, it’s still missing. One corner made up of the digital boards does not look right at all, may be temporary position. Great video as always, apart from the snagging, the stadium and grounds looks world class.
Not quite sure why you would say that? If you are putting memorial stones in they will be visible to everybody once in, no? I have a couple of stones being placed and would be estatic if they were caught on video being placed.
@06skippy06 You've misunderstood my point. I've bought stones for those who are dead, I'd like my dad to see the name his wife of 53 years without it being blasted all over UA-cam.
Does anyone know if they will eventually paint some of the seats white with EFC, Everton or 1878 etc as seen on the people project app and early designs ? Appears that they are taking the same approach as spurs and going for bland blue seats. Hope they do will add more character I think
No, they'll not be painting any seats, even if they decided to have any white seats. They'd merely change them. However, unless the Naming Rights Project throws up some new plans, the current plans are to NOT have any white seats. Any visualisations in images or videos are artistic licence and not truly representative of the plans.
Great video once again Nick. When do you think they will open the site, to the general public, to have a walk around. I can't wait to get in there myself, the sooner they open that shop the better
Just another point Nick ,now that the removal of offices, spares etc, could we have a plan view of exactly what areas of the docks Everton have leased, maybe get a plan view and outline in red marker ,would be interesting. Steve.
EFC won’t have the land where the LoR offices are currently being dismantled - this area is being handed back to Peel. EFC land = The black fence running between Nelson Dock and the south stand is the south border. The wall along Regent Road is the east border. The black fence running along the north immediately below the furthest extent of the north stand is the northern perimeter. And the white boarded fence in front of the sea wall is the western boundary of EFC land.
@@steveasplet4391 Which is why Peel Group have the plans authorised and will be developing it all. It was always their intent to develop it all and EFC wanting a bit at the north end of the site, merely meant a change in the plans. Hi mate, I’ve been watching all the way through but this is my first question! Do you know if we are having electronic advertising boards between the tiers of the West/East/North stands? The CGI renders did show them being there? Also, any idea if the super riser in the South Stand is being painted blue to help it blend in and make it look more like one continuous tier? Cheers mate!

For the missing edge on the boardwalk, it is on the corner of the north west stand, best viewed hovering over the back up generators
