The most underrated wrestler in the business. He’s such a star and is real. This character is modern and can make people watch. Btw chris you should interview Eddie Edwards
I love how we have people like Eddie Kingston, a veteran who isn't bitter, he's been through a long career and yet he's so damn down to earth and honestly seems like a dude who'd be great to just chill out and shoot the shit with, not even about wrestling, just about anything. It didn't feel like a 50 minute interview because Eddie is so fucking captivating.
Dude, his Impact promos are nothing. This guy has been killing it on the mic for decades. Some of his early Chikara promos are amongst my all time fav.
Loved this vid! Eddie came across as humble, intelligent, and humorous. Basically REAL. Admire his attitude on the biz and life in general. One of the most underrated on the mic, imo
Eddie Kingston is a great guy! He wrestles for AIW here in Cleveland, and always puts on a hell of a performance, and everyone loves him! Hes approachable, funny as hell, and a hell of a worker! Now to watch this awesome interview with my #1 interviewer.. Chris Val Vliet! I am stoked! Life is good.
I'm so down. Inner Circle is genius, but if they split, we have INSTANT story for Santana, Ortiz, Eddie, and Diamante'. Bring it back. Play it out. Maybe make Team Tazz a full "Heenan Family" faction.
EK is one of my favorite guys. I'm appreciative of how he lives his life more than I am of his wrestling skills. I always find him interesting in the ring nad on honest interviews.
Eddie Kingston is one of the best promos out there these days. MLW should book him for some shows. Hell, throw him in Contra. He and Josef Samael could bury any opponent just with promos.
Chris thought Eddie was Speaking a Foreign Language When he started mentioning areas in the Atl , haha! Great Interview and I honestly feel like Eddie's career is just getting started.Would love to see him in AEW. Love that he reps 914 too! Y.O Baby!
Eddie BELONGS in AEW. He's a perfect representation of that "not-your-normal-wrestling" personality that feels so damn right, like Omega, Page, DDP, Darby and others. Reunite LAX under a new name, or put Eddie in the Inner Circle!!! He'd be GOLD!
He should wrestle for some years then slowly he turn into wrestler and commentator like Jericho right now then then manager and commentator like Tazz And if he could able pull these things and at the end of career he would be a legend
I first became aware of Eddie Kingston back when he was a member of Blackout in CZW and he's always struck me as being one of the most down to earth guys your likely to meet so I've really enjoyed the video hope he has continued sucess as he is one guy that truly deserves it.
I remember you Eddie when you were a lot smaller you've gotten a little bit bigger but you consistently gotten better every time I've seen you so proud of you on NWA power continue the good work my brother
I realize this is a year old, but I'm just now watching it. I love that he mentioned that he tries to be real. That's why I love the guy. He feels so legit.
AEW Is The First Time I've Seen Eddie Kingston Wrestle ... And Hear His Name As Well. Now, Eddie Ranks In My Top 3 Favorite Professional Wrestlers (Not Just In AEW). He's Different, He's Himself. I Hope He Wrestles For A Long Time To Come. He Has That "Something" Factor That Attracts Attention When He Walks Into The Building. That Can't Be Learned - It Comes Natural And He Has "It!"
I honestly only found out about him on NWA Powerrr and man I love his intensity and mic talk. His in ring is awesome too, so fun to watch. Wish I knew him earlier. Chris you're still the best too. Always a good interview.
@@ChrisVanVliet I watch all your interviews! I've seen interviews with same guys with other interviewers that were garbage but yet you get the best of them. My favorite is still you with John Morrison about 2 years ago. Keep it up man. Happy for all your success.
@Bryan Norton If you ever get the chance, look oup Kingston's TNA stuff too. Especially the stuff involving the OGs, aka the original LAX, and the LAX of Santana and Ortiz.
The realist in the business and a great promo, not too many wrestlers can make you tear up with a promo but Eddie Kingston is not one of em. He cuts a hell of a promo and you can feel every word!! Keep it up man, love from Columbus Ohio!!
Eddie is the King, I respect his craft and boy Eddie is one of the best at cutting a promo, from his time as the OG LAX to his current run on AeW , Kingston is one of the greatest. Awesome interview as always Chris
I've been waiting for this one !! Thanks Chris. Phenomenal as always. Eddie is a TRUE underground champion of the people who deserves respect in the business. A freaking natural on the mic, best promo's. David Starr next please 😀
Man I can't wait to see more of this guy in Aew hopefully!. I never heard of him before (no offense) but wow what a promo guy he is! He is what the business needs!
Eddie kingston is a terrifically good example of what you have got when you find someone who knows himself.... his erudite knowledge of the industry is inspiring... He is Brill..
I want to thank you Chris for interviewing this guy. He's one of my favorite wrestlers that I felt wasn't getting his fair share and is very underrated. NWA has a gem in the King of diamonds. "The world is cold. Bundle up!" -- Eddie Kingston
This guy has ALWAYS been entertaining and seeing him get the spotlight he deserves is awesome. He's been awesome since I saw him on the indies and he's still awesome no national TV. Dudes a legend.
This guy is literally becoming one of my favorites. Found out about him from his match with Cody. Man, this guy is a damn savage. Not a fan of his finisher but everything else in his move set is brutal.

I just finished watching the FULL GEAR PPV and wanted to listen to this interview. This man brought out so much emotion during the feud with MOX and he brought out emotions within me listening to this interview. God bless this man.
I always saw Eddie as a character I couldn't relate to when I was younger ... time definitely changes opinions. His LAX angle in Impact won me over completely and I never knew why. After hearing this interview, I truly understand him now. Great interview guys. I'm loving the re-energized Eddie in NWA and have a feeling I'm now a fan for life.
It's advise that seems to have influenced a bunch of wrestlers. As well as Brody, and Jeff Cobb David Starr regularly talks about Eddie telling him that.
I’m here after his AEW appearance and I’m even more impressed by this guy after watching his promos and this interview. Dude is so fucking genuine and real. I hadn’t heard of this guy prior to this week and it’s a damn shame.
this dude is so cool to hear talk. i could listen and invest in what hes saying even nowadays in AEW. his promos are genuine and enjoyable. i like that he acknowledges that its him "at 17 just turned up 1000 notches" as he puts it. keep up the great work Chris, another fantastic interview
Its been great seeing him regularly in the UK up to now. Im a sucker for the more realistic wrestling and Eddie is one of the best at that. Great interview
i had the pleasure of meeting eddie kingston at the gym and took a selfie with him to. i could not have asked for a better experience meetig him. and believe me when i say he is one of the nicest individuals you could ever meet.
I love how Eddie makes you see this business in so many different ways ( not saying that I automatically sign with everything that he says ) and it makes you realize that we literally don’t know anything cause of how it’s evolves over the years and we’ll never stop learning more and more each day.
Remembered first hearing about The King of Diamonds in 2007 on Chikara’s Podcast-A-Go-Go. So underrated. Happy to hear he is in a good place. Would love him to get a TV Title reign in the NWA. Great interview, as always. BTW CVV, have you interviewed Mike Quackenbush?
This man deserves a big contract. His promos and skills are so under looked it’s borderline criminal. If anyone is feeling down or just need a pick me up just lookup a Kingston promo. It will motivate you I swear.
Eddie Kingston is the GOAT Great promos but also great matches 🙌🙏👏👏 His first run in tna was underrated with the dcc then his second run there with lax was simply amazing Glad his in nwa killing it 🙌🔥
Saw him on AEW and his mic skills/promos got me hooked! Eddie is a fucking GOD on the mic! I’ve been watching wrestling for over 20 years and how I’ve never heard of him is beyond me. Eddie is real and keeps it real!
I'm literally watching this after seeing Eddie Kingston debut on AEW. I had no idea who he was before that, but boy am I ever a fan now.
Me too! I'm a new Kingston fan!
Gettin that Tony Khan money,

You win the internet today 🤣
AMEN
That guy is a revelation on the mic.
One of the best no doubt. The recent one he cut on Progress reminded me just how good he really is on the mic.
The one he cut tonight on Cody Rhodes gave me goosebumps
He reminds me of a younger version of Tommy Dreamer, but with better mic skills
This dude is real, love him or hate him, he is real. God Bless Ya Eddie
How could you not love him lol.
First time I saw him was him and Cody. I get it now. I'm a fan. Much respect.
Not only is he real, but I could listen to him just talk for days
This is why he got my attention he is an old school style guy I love how you can tell he just a chill dude that dgaf
What is real
The most underrated wrestler in the business. He’s such a star and is real. This character is modern and can make people watch. Btw chris you should interview Eddie Edwards
I 2nd that on the Eddie Edwards interview, Chris! 👍
Who is this guy man ?
I agree Eddie Kingston hands down is my idol.

Agreed. Could listen to homie talk for days and not get tired. Save the bumps, give Eddie a podcast imo 💯
Previous interviewees: oh sorry Chris didn’t mean to swear there.
Eddie Kingston:
Right 🤣🤣🤣
His promo about Homicide on NWA Powerrr instantly turned me into a fan
Eddie never get enough credit for how good of a worker he is
also his second run on Impact Wrestling he showed a very good skill on the mic
SO GOOD

God, the way he talks about wrestling, you can feel it in your soul. He really loves what he does. I’m so glad he’s getting a chance in AEW.
I would LOVE to see Ediie Kingston in AEW
Just saw him tear it up on dynamite tonight!!! I’m almost POSITIVE he landed himself a contract

If Santana and Ortiz ever leave the Inner Circle, Eddie Kingston should be hired as their manager
100% add diamante too have a LAX reunion.
I was thinking that too
