My name is Andre, and today our session is about the all new 2023 Honda DAX e.
The electric bicycle is made by Honda China as an overall effort from Honda to go carbon neutral by 2030.
The bike has an 80 km range, and can go up to 25 km/h
The battery wattage is capped at 40 watts.

How fast is it?
It goes 25km/h
not the fastest, but the speed sneaks up on you a little.
Does that bike have enough torque to go up hills?
Can go up hills about 19 degrees.
Definitely not made for hills. More for flatter urban settings.

Has anyone figure out how to unlock the speed limit for these yet?
Yes actually. So the chip module is modifiable, but only up to 35km/h.
I know in China they’re working on something bigger, but from what I know you’d have to swap the motor AND the battery.
Actually I live in China, and I also bought a dax e. The shopkeeper told me that if I replace the controller, I can remove the 25 km/h speed limit and achieve a maximum speed of around 45 km/h, at a cost of only about 30 bucks
@@dreage There are some hong kong sellers who are saying it can be unlocked to 40km without changing anything over.
