Gen 5 has one city based on new york. If you look at the gen 5 map it's the entirety of north America without Alaska or Hawaii
I mean it’s based in part on the rest of America but mostly NYC. If you look at a map of Unova and a map of NYC and New Jersey it’s almost the same shape, and Masuda said the inspiration for Unova was mostly NYC
So, the theme of Gen 10 will be Expression. Cool. I wonder if a future generation will focus on Logic Thinking and Creative Thinking?

I like to watch competitive play and honestly im not sure how it would work for fairness but i wanna see a game where there are no new gimmicks but your able to choose past gimmicks like mega vs dynamax or something in competitive would be nuts

China as the region would be dope, I like it a lot more than the other "rumors" claims. However the water starter being a chicken is a instant nope. We just had a water bird, why would they do one again right after?
Why would we get a water chicken in Gen X if we just got a water duck in Gen IX?

Well if we do get another water duck, it will join Psyduck, ducklett, and quaxley(possible typo but never really cared for it). If I'm not mistaken, upping the number of water ducks to 4

Honestly in terms of region inspirations I’m most waiting to see in Pokémon gen 10, either something based off part of Africa or based off part of South/Central America.
A region based off somewhere in South/Central America has *amazing* untapped potential for new Pokémon designs with the Amazon rainforest
A region based off Kenya, Madagascar, or another part of Africa already has a surprisingly large chunk of its hypothetical regional dex ready to go with preexisting Pokémon, but even then new regional forms and/or new evolutions for some of them could be SO COOL.
Fusion for a new gimmick. Interesting. After Gen 10 and this new gimmick gamefreak will probably run out of ideas at this point. When it comes to the gimmicks of course. Not the pokemon themselves.

As incredible as the Gen 10 rumor is, and as much as I DEFINITELY WANT IT to be real, I feel like some of the things on their list were too good to be true. With Game Freak's recent release records, this definitely feels like something that they would need quite a bit more time for, at least in my opinion. But hey, I would LOVE to be proven wrong on this; I wanna see all of the potential that our next games are gonna have!
I've never understood why Battle Bond wasn't a mass pokemon gimmick for specific NPCs where they would Battle Bond affecting their signature Pokémon, with the change impacting two random stats and providing some degree of a signature move or coverage opportunity.

The Fire Zodiac theory didn't fail. No one is looking at it right. In Gen order: Charizard looks like a dragon, but not an actual dragon. Typhlosion's base evolution is a mouse. Not a rat. Blaziken is more chicken the rooster. Infernape is a monkey. Emboar is a pig. Delphox is a fox not a dog. Incineroar is a tiger. Cinderace is a rabbit. Skeledirge is a loose one, but it would fit in the snake zodiac. Skeledirge is a crock, and crocks are reptiles like snakes. As you can see some of the fire starters fit into certain zodiacs that they aren't actually what the zodiac is. Same tree different branches.

I believe the next region will actually be based on Neatherlands. I think the Pokemon Company has a list of countries they want to use as regions, but I don´t think China will be the one, it´ll be either Neatherland or even Australia

Pokemon Legends Z-A news won't be at Worlds as it will not be a competitive game. They only show show news of games or DLC that is going to part of future competitions. Gen 10 will not be the best pokemon game of all time. They are not going back to Japan for the gen game. They not giving us 120 new pokemon. It be under 100. Fusion will not be the next gimmick. Voicing acting is never going to happen. No, we are not getting age customization. Pokemon will not evolve mid battle. Fake rumor.

Political stuff stops China from being a region, C-C-P being too sensitive to how China is portrayed, unlike most normal countries where any mention is just appreciated. They banned Pokemon Go there, and Sun and Moon were the first translated games for Chinese, so late to the party in that regard.
Like I said political stuff, I longed for a Hong Kong region one day, alas it was not to be.
As for a region in Japan, there are still regions Pokemon has yet to cover, while it doesn't make them any less appealing, some of them do not have interesting shapes geography wise, I do not often hear about these regions, but they may have waited for the region the houses Fukushima, the disaster, it was too fresh, the nuclear power station zone is still a disaster zone, it will be for some time, but it isn't the whole region.
