Neat stuff, thanks! A good (and money-saving) reminder for me that I don't need the newest camera with perfect performance to take interesting pictures.
A good way to test is too open the back of the camera, look through the lens while you're pointing it at a light source, and push the shutter button. If you see the shutter open and close and it's fast rather than slow or stuck, the camera should still be working fine.
I recently bought one of these for very low price and looks very well preserved. Could I shoot on colour on these cameras? Does the Kodak colour film work for these?
Found one of these cameras in my grandparents old stuff and I can't wait to see if it works. Figured I'd youtube it before I start shooting and stumbled on your video. Great stuff and beautiful shots
ISO 400 film should work okay in this camera. I find it works fine in most fixed shutter speed point and shoot camera like this one. I'm no expert on developing, but there are plenty of great tutorials on UA-cam. Just search "developing black and white film"
This camera is fully manual. It doesn't have a battery. It basically has a fixed shutter speed and three aperture settings for shooting in sunlight, overcast or cloudy settings.
He's no longer with the company, but you'll still see him make guest appearances from time to time :) Here's a video he recently made with another UA-camr: ua-cam.com/video/8TygcdG5vEo/v-deo.html

Lo-fi indeed! 😄 Kinda reminds me of early 2000's goth aesthetic...
Definitely :)
Film Friday should be every Friday!!
We agree! Maybe someday :)
Found one of these in my great grandma’s house who recently passed. I’m excited to see if it still works :)

Not sure if I like the light leaks but I quite enjoy the lo fi analogue aesthetic.
Oh yeah, if I shoot with this camera again, I'm going to try to solve the leak issue first.
I really like those photos, kind of comforting in a way.
Thanks, yeah, the lo-fi quality can transmit that kind of mood for sure.
Awesome video. Really like that t-shirt too!
Thanks!

Yes, this camera will work with color or black and white 35mm film.
Yeah! I use Holga and lots of digal lo-fi lenses too
Nice! We did a whole series on Holga stuff last Fall, definitely have more Holga stuff coming!

Thanks! Hope yours works too, and also doesn't have the light leak mine has :)
I have it but I used an iso 400 film, tips to develop? Thanks for video!

I have this 📷 ,its nice one
It's a unique little camera!
where did you put the camera battery?
This camera is fully manual. It doesn't have a battery. It basically has a fixed shutter speed and three aperture settings for shooting in sunlight, overcast or cloudy settings.
I like film grain
We do too :)
What type of film should I use for this camera?
ISO 100 for bright daylight, 200 or 400 for cloudy days. It won't work well inside unless you can figure out a way to sync a flash to it.
Whatever happened to ol' Bow-hoosh?

You look you’ve aged 10 years 🧔🏼
For me, that's good :)
I feel sick,
Do you need some chicken soup? :)
@@FotodioxInc It’s nice that you review all types of cameras though.
