She’s Been Poor Too She Is Humble Because She Knows It’s A Gift Of God and She Knows How Blessed She Is That God Choose Her . He Chose To Gift Dolly That Voice And Writing Abilities Because He Knows Her Heart And Generosity And How Much Of An Impact She Would Make With Others Living Where She Was Born Dollywood created many jobs and Additional Revenue For Hopefully Many More Yesrs To Come .
If you ever have a chance to see Dolly in a live venue, do it! It's hard to describe how gifted she is as a songwriter and singer. Anyone who likes any kind of music will find her to be a one-of-a-kind, super-gifted artist.

From UK, not into Country music at all but this woman is an absolute legend - the song writing, the books for kids, the humour, staying at the top for 60 years. She still holds the attendance record at Glastonbury. Truly amazing 👏

I had the honor of meeting Dolly at Dollywood when I was a little girl and I was completely star-struck. My family and I visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg multiple times a year. It’s our home away from home. I believe her magic makes it that way. She is the most beautiful soul on Earth!

I've always loved Dolly. In the 70s when I was a hard-line hippy ,all my friends laughed at me ,but I still played my Dolly and Porter record " In my Tenessee mountain home " was one of my favourites back then. Always great !!!
I've seen an interview with Jerry Gacia, where he was actually moved to tears listening to Dolly -- said that she was actually his favorite singer. And here's a guy who worked alongside Etta James, Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, and who knows how many others.

Who cannot love Dolly Parton, besides "I will always love you". Saw this great concert of her in London back in the 1980's on HBO and I was star struck right then and there. You need to youtube her song "Down from Dover" it will bring tears to your eyes.

I'm not much of a Country Music Fan......
But, I have MANY relatives from "The South".....
Whenever I hear her voice, she takes me back to those times when I was a very young boy, being babysat in a Country Night Club that my Grandparents owned in the 70s. My parents worked and my Dad would always drop us off there during the day.......when it was pretty slow.......
I was between 4 and 7 when this would happen....
Of course nobody would say anything since my Dad was a Police Officer of the city........
Like I said, not much of a Country music enthusiast, but Country People ARE GREAT!!!

It’s the coolest thing living in Pigeon Forge only 2 miles from Dollywood when they filmed this. They filmed this movie only around 5-6 months ago, so it was shot quickly and they wasted no time on its release! There was a big Hooplah around town when Willie Nelson, Dolly and Jimmy Fallon were in the area! Pretty cool.
