I was looking for that comment :) a lot of celebs don't give enough credits to all desingers, make up artist and hair dressers. As if they come with that looks by themselfs...
Dolly is the quintessential humble southern woman. These women cook, clean, look after a husband, raise 4 kids, then 4 more grand kids, and never break a sweat, except Dolly didn't have to do all that; God had a different plan for little Dolly 😉
Her remembering everyone that helped her is such a small town thing, and I mean that in the best way possible. Growing up in a small town means you learn everybody’s name, you learn what they do and you get to know them. The fact that she never let go of her roots, learns names and remembers them says so much about her good heart.
I think is more of a trait humble and grateful people have. Is more often in small towns, but in the cities we've forgotten about gratefulness just because... She's a example of how money can't change your kind heart.
Dolly is a national treasure! Also the fact that she just kept on being her wonderful self despite some of the town talking about her is also why she is a legend.
I love that there's no deep reasoning behind her looks. A lot of the people on this series talk about how this dress symbolized that and this dress had a deep, significant reason to be, and here's Dolly saying "I loved this dress, I felt pretty in it". That's what's up. She's out here doing exactly what makes Dolly happy, and I'm here for it
What’s also impressive is that she remembers them all in the first place. Clearly showing she cares about people enough to realize that everyone name and face counts, the fact also they she gives them all such credit also shows just how loving and compassionate she is. Dolly is a saint and a blessing to the world.
You noticed that she notices and I think that too, is 'note-worthy' luff!! Blessings to your days and family and may you see and be surrounded with many more beautiful blessings to your life.

Dolly is country, pure and simple. But remember, Like Dolly has said, “I’m not leaving country, I’m taking it with me!” Her goal was to be a Superstar. "and they seemed to like me" dolly, i mostly listen to metal and EDM but i would never turn down a chance to hear you live. your music is amazing.
I feel this. Though I have a particular distaste for EDM lol
Idk why I felt I need to specify that jeez
Three things I want in life:
1. Dolly Parton's waistline
2. Dolly Parton's waistline
3. Dolly Parton's waistline
Agree
corsets! You could see the boning in a lot of her looks she's probably been training her waist for ages. It's so good for your back too
@@fairygoat15 Yes, corsets are SO supportive to the back, especially if you're busty! If it fits correctly, you can breathe just fine and it's more comfortable than a bra in my experience.
@@bridgetthewench yes I love mine so much
Well made corsets and tailored clothing!
the Dolly Parton UA-cam community is here !!!!!
I’m so excited !!!!!!!!! Yessss. The queen omg !!!! I love dolly so much
Icon in the building!!!

Dolly is the definition of humble the way she downplays herself while crediting stylists and designers is truly something to admire!!!
The fact that she remembers everyone who did her hairstyle and her dresses is so cute 😭❤️🥺
I don't even listen that much to Dolly's music but her entire vibe makes me love her
i literally love this woman so much man. she keeps saying “well i didn’t know if they would know who i was” honey! you are one of the most famous country singers ever!
I remember post-Glastonbury everyone in the UK was in absolute awe that only Dolly could go to a festival known for being a mud fest in WHITE and come out the other end sparkling clean!
And she says, they're not gonna know who i am... 💜
Who doesn't just adore Dolly? She is as sweet as can be.
I wish I could exude the same class, humor, humility, and kindness that Dolly does so naturally.
Dolly is country, pure and simple. But remember, Like Dolly has said, “I’m not leaving country, I’m taking it with me!” Her goal was to be a Superstar. Dolly knew she had more to offer and in order to become a Superstar you can’t stick with one genre. She literally paved the way for so many stars today. When you can sell out arenas in London, Australia, etc, you have officially become a Superstar. And don’t forget her Massive theme park. ;)
Her theme park is pure magic I swear
I’ve always loved Dolly. When I was young her song “Coat of many colors” made me literally cry my eyes out - I’ve loved her since I was little. “Hard Candy Christmas” is my #1 favorite Christmas song.
I have yet to see someone dislike Dolly or have anything bad to say about her. She remains beautiful inside and outside. Absolute ICON! ♥️
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👍😍👍😍👍😍👍😍👍🙃😍👍🙃😍👍🙂🙃
SOOOOO TRUE!!!!!!💗
literally I don't even listen to her genre of music but she's an icon so I love her
She is not "fashionable", she is herself and that's beautiful!
The best style icons are organic. And usually everything follows along with that
"I'm not leaving country - I'll take country with me wherever I go." I just love Dolly.
💙
I could just listen to her talking for hours. She's so sweet and genuine.
Dolly is one of THEE MOST appreciative, nicest, kindest, most honest people I've ever (not) met! She gives credit, where credit is due and seems to see the good in EVERYONE. If you've ever watched ANY interview you feel like you KNOW her! She isn't secretive (even though there's nothing wrong with not telling everything you know or do , EVEN if you're famous). I feel like I'm related to her. I would suppose a lot of people do. Just a lot of LOVE and RESPECT for this LADY!!❤
The fact we’re getting a Dolly Parton Christmas album is what’s getting me through this year.
She is the perfect mix of country and camp, and she seems like a genuine sweetheart. Love me some Dolly!
“Everybody can sing a little.”
What a sweet lady 🥰
Her humility is so refreshing, crediting her designers and helpers... I just love her
“marilyn manson more like it” 🤣
Was looking for this comment 😂
I just spat out my tea 🤣😂😅😶
Wheeewwww I laughed so hard!!! 🤣😂🤣
I'm surprised she even knows who that is
That got me 😂
I have such admiration for Dolly. Not because of her wonderful music, but because of what seems to be inside. Kindness, compassion, humility and generosity. She seems like a rare gem. Love her.
She has such positive vibes.
I just love how humble she is to thank Miley Cyrus for her younger fans.
She hasn’t aged since she was Miley Stewart’s grandmother
Like how she’s a queen
she was her aunt in the show. she's Miley's godmother in real life too
@@SRLovesPandas1 omg that’s amazing
@@SRLovesPandas1 No she still acted as the godmother
@@SRLovesPandas1 Naw I think she called her Mamaw, that’s a southern word for Grandma
I've never been too drawn to country music, but I've always been drawn to Dolly. So adorable and kind! Really inspired by you, thank you so much for sharing your warmth and passion.
Same. Don't care for music. Love Dolly as a person (at least as far as one can see) !
We NEED a Dolly Parton Vogue cover!!!
Hear hear!
I’m not generally a country fan, but I grew up watching Dolly and my mother has always loved her. I had the opportunity to see her in Raleigh back in 2008 and her show was one of THE best live musical acts I’ve experienced. That lady is 110% entertainer!
"go buy my album, I need the money" lololol I LOVE HER
LOL
"...'cus I need to buy some fashionable clothes!" Love it
"Merry Christmas everyone, go buy my album I need the money because I need to buy some fashionable clothes" LOLLL I can definitely respect this woman
Vogue’s most enjoyable segment.
Dolly is simply delightful. She’s just a person who enjoys clothes and feeling pretty.
I think we all have a special place in our hearts for dolly. She is just such a wholesome person and has maintained that wholesome, warm and country image. Great music, great personality and amazing style.
Dolly is the reason I’ll never accept anyone telling me I’m too old to be wearing bright nail polish.
Amen 👏
Never!
Just because you’re getting older, doesn’t mean you need to become duller!
Unless dolly says it
But she never will
Always promoting her brand. I ain’t mad at Dollys hustle. “I need the money. I need to buy some fashionable clothes.” 😂😂💫🌶
As Dolly said: 'it costs a lot of money to look this cheap'
She’s an amazing businesswoman! Well, she’s just amazing all around!
She also donates extreme amounts of money so you better go support her
I love how she didn’t think anyone would know who she was at Glastonbury 😂😂 you know you’re a star when what 40 years into your career, at 74 years old you command a festival full of the youth to complete attention and still think they ‘seemed’ to like your songs ! Love dolly so much!
Not disputing anything you said but her career started at 12 singing on a radio station in Knoxville. So at 74, she was 62years into her career ☺️
When me and my friends were in our early 20s we used to go see Chuck Berry every year at one of the local festivals, for few years before he passed. He always put on great shows. We loved him.
I found out about Dolly Parton through Hanna Montana when I was a wee bab. I absolutely adore Dolly to this day. What a great soul
I love when younger generations discover things this way. I know a lot of it is luck but I still think it speaks to the timeless nature of people like Dolly.
