National Security Risk? Lawmakers Push Back as China Tries to Buy Land Near US Air Force Base

- Foreign ownership of American land is a hot-button issue these days, especially when it comes to China. The U.S. city that put this concern on the map is Grand Forks, North Dakota.
CBN News traveled there to take a closer look at the pushback against what could be seen as a national security risk.
"Motion carries unanimously."
"USA! USA!"
Cheers and shouts of "USA" erupted at a city council meeting earlier this year after Grand Forks council members voted to stop a $700 million Chinese-owned agricultural project.

Grand forks doesn’t deserve the kudos. Those politicians were all for the deal UNTIL the Air Force stepped in. Kudos to my Air Force…Aim High! Residents beware Chinese companies are looking for land all over the US. Areas of central WI are in the fight of their lives against these same companies buying farmland to put in solar and wind turbines. Landowners beware your local govts will sell you out for the funds and prospective of their gain. 20$ an acre that’s what you get. What do you have left when the so called green power sources break down. You have nothing but broken equipment that these companies don’t repair or remove.
What does allowing your enemy to buy land (especially near military installations) say about your homeland security, your politicians, your government and your values?

In 2017 California's Assembly Votes To Allow Communists To Hold State Jobs. The California Energy Commission hired and made Iranian within the organization in charge of assessment division & large funding projects. Some of those projects contracted with Iranian owned company and recently got its third non-compete renewal.

@@suzannehartmann946 China is an enemy of the USA other than on a business level, even that of which has become concerning (global trade and offshoring manufacturing). My comment is satire, questioning the use of the headline itself, which fronts as pragmatic. It’s a no-brainer that the US should not sell land to China, and in my estimation should be criminalized at the federal level. What can be said of the federal government allowing it? Can we even call it an act of aggression when we participate for a “price”?
