- We visited the Snappy Lunch, in downtown Mayberry, NC.
The Snappy Lunch is famous for its pork chop sandwich, and has the most reasonable prices of any small diner that we know of anywhere.
In addition, it was mentioned on by Andy Griffith on The Andy Griffith Show, in the episode "Andy The Matchmaker".

The pork chop sandwich is so good. We had one back in August when we were there. The prices for their food are not bad. Thanks for taking us back.

Oh my gosh I could have eaten one of everything at those prices. Dang that looks great. I could there everyday. You guys find the best diners and restraurants to dine at. Any more camping or hiking videos coming before the cold weather? Thanks for informative videos.
Possibly a hike, but we're not sure. Probably no more camping for the season.

We don't remember ever seeing the room that we were in this time. It could have been there, but we think it was added.
Mt Airy is such a fun little town! I was able to go there in June and had a great time! We sat at the booth behind the table yall had at the Snappy Lunch😊
