Good work guys, keep it up! I used to be a pool lifeguard, now I'm a firefighter, always wanted to be a beach lifeguard though. Maybe one day when I live closer to the beach I'll work as a volunteer.
Is it compulsory that you are good looking to work as a lifeguard?! :-)

I cant wait till im old enough and have enough money so I can go live in sydney and work on bondi as a lifeguard, before all that I will be training and getting exsperience in the uk on weekends and stuff then oz here I come :)

Ah I remember being a lifeguard, but then medical school went and took that from me :( Time to take it back now and I'm sure my local council won't mind having a doctor lifeguard.

Do RNLI offer careers for lifeguarding so all year round/professional 🤔🙂

Hi Ella, our lifeguard service is seasonal from spring to autumn. The exact length of the season varies by beach. However, many of our lifeguards go abroad over the winter so they can continue lifeguarding.

We need to ban split fins , their power drops out the harder you kick , extremely dangerous .At least the ones I've tried. Herd similar from commerical spear fisherman. Please pass this on so we can save some lives !
