Try uninstalling and install it again. When you install drivers it will automatically asks you to restart. Or else the drivers weren't installed properly.

In pc once you click on install drivers. The drivers will be successfuly installed only when it shows reboot popup as shown in video. If drivers weren't installed properly then it says failed to connect.
I heard even some one saying this issue. I doesn't know the exact solution for this.
In my case also it takes two three or more attempts for successful installation of drivers.
You can also try this method
Install 3u tools ( 3u.com )
And then connect iphone if it gets detected by 3u tools close it
And now install apower and try to install drivers. After clicking on install drivers wait for sometime time till it shows pop up to reboot.
If apower mirror drivers are installed properly then 3u tools will fail to detect iphone.

Disconnect them and try to connect them again.

when I try to connect it using USB it immediately connects, there is no such option to install the driver, it automatically starts to mirror but I want to control my iPhone through pc.

Yes it lags. May be try to use any other light weight screen recording software like sharex (avoid using apower mirror screen recording ). Try this.

Even mines is potato pc i3. I have edited the video. So i croped loading screens. Yes it lags a bit.
