considering every other country has their national anthem (eg: france) in the end screen i wonder why the united states has yankee doodle instead of the star spangled banner (considering waterloo took place in 1815, the Scott Key probably would have composed the star spangled banner by now.) edit: i did some research, and for some reason, Prussia, does not have Preußen's Gloria, and GB has The British Grenadiers instead of God Save the King.
To answer the edit as well: Prussia Glory was written in 1871 after defeating France in the Franco-Prussian war. God Save The King was indeed the anthem for the British, however British Grenadiers and other songs started to become more popular at this time plus God Save The King was rather mellow at this time period. Also, you do not need to use anthems either.

The poem by Scott Key back then was just a poem, not a anthem, and the anthem wasn't made as the official one until 1931
