How to change battery on Dell XPS 13 9370 / 9360 + Interior Cleaning Walkthrough 2021

Difficulty level of this battery replacement was medium. It’s really important to always clean the interior of the laptop you’re replacing the battery on. Might as if you already have the computer completely opened and it’s better for the longevity of the machine that it be cleaned properly every now and then whenever you happen to have it open. Always use Dell genuine batteries. Replica batteries can sometimes fluctuate in volts and amps which is harmful to your machine. Genuine batteries are important to maintaining the health of your laptop because you want the interior components to be powered effectively and efficiently according to their recommended voltage and amperage. If possible, avoid using aftermarket chargers as well for these can also damage batteries within the computer. Depending on the quality of the interior components of an aftermarket charger, it’s always safe and smart to use Dell original chargers. Another really important thing to keep in mind is to handle the entire machine with care including the actual battery itself. You don’t want to bend the battery or rupture any of the lithium cells inside the new or old battery. Always use care and take your time. Be careful with the screws and clips when removing the lower cover of the laptop. Listen for a slight snap when it comes to opening the clip itself and reattaching it afterwards. Wear gloves for better grip and accuracy in handling the laptop and your tools while working on it.
