I don't have a day pack, I am looking for one. I currently use a Vans rucksack for work that I stumbled across in a TK Maxx store for only £20. It looks like a traditional Vans bag but its so much more. It has a stiff but padded back and specific and separate laptop pocket. the overall storage is around 20l i think and great for laptop, note books, brochures, a pencil case etc I can squeeze my small LowePro Format camera bag in there and at a pinch use it as an over nighter. Its also made from Cordura and I think the best value bag I've ever bought. Only downside is no bottle/flask pocket.

I recently replaced my daily pack with a Recycled Firefighter 12HR (12L) It is basically the same as this GoRuck but with a high-vis orange interior (which I love) and the front pocket is vertical (like a mini CPL24)I love it!

Nice review! Argghhhh. Wish you had compared it to the 15 (the 10 looks a tad tiny. Two (or one) models each wearing a 10 and 15 would help get a better sense of size). If someone did try it on/see any big differences, lemme know (I'm 5'6" and need to stay at 17.5H max). Right now, the Tom Bihn Synapse 19/Synik 22 have my heart. I know you're not fans of their aesthetic, but I actually find it quite chic and I'm a New Yorker (not sure that matters).

I have a pretty minimalistic aesthetic and have a Brown Buffalo Conceal, Tom Bihn Synapse 19L and Synik (they’re 16.5h) and Evergoods Civic and CPL 24. Wanted a rough and tumble grab and go. Or maybe I just need a good sling. When I first started looking I was also looking at the Recycled Firefighter but got talked out of it and folks said go for the GR1. The Echo sounds best for me but they don’t make it anymore. Heck, in these days, maybe I need nothing...welcome your thoughts.
10l Bullet is perfect for light EDC and hikes. The 15l is bigger than I expected. I prefer the 10l for hiking. Tom Bihn backpacks are more comparable to the GR 1/2 in size and purpose.
@Hats and Beautyit’s been years! Well, they no longer make the 10L Bullet and the 15L has been out of stock for what feels like two years and might be a goner. I got me a GR1 21L and GR2 26L backpacks - the latter is really a fatter GR1 and good for travel from my couch to the kitchen (at this moment. A girl can dream). Got me Trakke Largo and Banana slings - waxed canvas, and different capacities. Love ‘‘em both. I already owned a Trakke Bairn over the shoulder with Cobra buckles - beloved. EG CHZ 22 and CPL24V2, I think I already owned. Love them but they they don’t love my back unless filled to to the brim. And funny, every day, I am still in my Tom Bihn Synapse 19. Always on the hunt for the elusive “one.”
They have 2 versions of pretty much everypack (they do sell out often). A slightly cheaper vietnam made version and a more expensive US version. Both are pretty much identical. I own 2 US GRs and a vietnam 15l bullet, all are great quality. I do try get USA made whenever I can, but have no issues with the vietname made ones

Unfortunately, like many bags around they are overpriced for what you get. The world is full of so many other bags by companies of like quality and materials for half the price. Nothing against Pack Hacker, just hard to swallow such prices for packs that are made in the same Vietnam factories as the lesser expensive brands with equal craftsmanship and quality. Simply put tells us, the consumer, they have a much higher profit margin. This bag today sells for $175.00...which is surely an obscene price!
@@PackHacker the handle on mine isn't padded and in a different location. There's also no velcro in the opening up top. Also the little loop on top on the inside doesn't have the ring.

Strange: Goruck says both the 10 and 15 bullets are 19H and 18.5H (15). They look so tiny on you. Hmmm.

Discontinued. It’s an unicorn now, especially non-black version.
Got rid of my Bullet, since it was just too small for EDC, I rock my blackout Re-Kånken now xD

Actually some of the packs are still made in USA. Check it out on their website.

They do make a 500d version, with 210ht on the parts that touch the body (back and straps inside) in some color options, read the specs on the site
