    The stone planter is lovely and all the planters at the end look great. They’ve made a very nice display.

      Thank you. Glad you liked the display. I've moved some back into the conservatory now so they don't take up quite so much room in the greenhouse. 😀

      Yes, they do look nice there. I've put a few back, but not as many as before. I can appreciate them more when they are spaced apart. Thanks for taking the time to leave me feedback. It's much appreciated. Diane 😊

    Bravo Diane, Big fan of succulents and Alpines. I display mine outside in summer baking on the south terrace (supposedly if we get any sun🙄) then lug them all back into the green house over winter. It works, still have to titivate them early spring but I really enjoy doing it, very therapeutic. Big fan of Harlow Carr and Betty's tea room. Thanks for sharing. 🐞🌻🌱

      I wonder if we've ever been there on the same day! Wouldn't that be lovely. We could have a cuppa together 😊

      Hi Julie. I've just been out in the greenhouse this morning and they are loving it in there. How's your garden coming along?

    Fun garden project. I love the stone planter. I have river rocks in a few of my planters… hmmm. My little greenhouse plan is to clean it! Loved the succulent tour and WOW they look fabulous in the greenhouse!!

      Ahh, thank you Susie. Glad you enjoyed the video. I'll have to Google 'river rocks' to see which ones you mean. I'm intrigued 🤔. Love the name. Diane x

    They made a great display in the greenhouse. I have succulents in the house and have always watered them as I do all my houseplants, weekly never treating them differently. They are gorgeous plants.

      I'm going to do that from now on Tracey. However, they are loving it in the greenhouse! I'm a bit scared to bring some back indoors 🤔. Loved your recent videos; particularly the one where you are feeding the robins in the rain. You're like Snow White 😀

    1:38 how are those pansys still so green and flowery, mine turn to a brown dry mess no matter how much I water them once we are in June

      Hi there. Yes, I have exactly the same problem. This footage was actually shot mid -May. That's why they look so healthy 😀.

    Your new pot is lovely Diane and you've filled it and the others nicely. I've got an Aloe Vera plant that a work colleague gave me a few years ago and it's grown massive. She told me it's good for burns but thankfully I've not had to put it to the test.

    • @thedown-to-earthgardener
      @thedown-to-earthgardener  4 місяці тому +1

      That's good to hear Wendy. Where do you have yours positioned? Do you have it in full sun or just good light but not direct sun? Mine looks so pathetic; but I feel I owe it to him to try and save him.

      @@thedown-to-earthgardener I keep my Aloe Vera in my dining room Diane where it has good light but is not in direct sun. It seems to thrive on neglect as I'm always forgetting to water it! They say that most plants die from being watered too much but my trouble is I forget to water at all! I'm really good with my outdoor plants though.
