The way that busa gets up to and sits between 80-160mph with pure ease is just ridiculous, if I had sole access to open roads with no speed limits, this would be a dream bike

Even in NZ the roads in the South Island are made for this, just gotta look out for the popo and blind stupid tourists that park in the road and get out to take photos. 😢

Perfect roads and landscape up there and the perfect bike for the occasion.
Down here in Sussex everywhere is so built up. I also worry about getting grassed up for speeding or wheelies etc by a some square with dashcam footage they could provide to police. Still it's better to have throttle and not need it than to need throttle and not have it :)
not that I'm advocating bad behaviour but I've seen riders (admittedly in other countries) get around the issue of drivers with dash cams. I think I saw one vid where the guy (or girl?) has a flip up nimber plate so they just flick a switch and the plate dissapears so it cant be seen.

How does the Busa torque compare with the 1290. I’ve owned the KTM and collect a Busa tomorrow,,,,, 1290 currently my all time stand out bike.

Totally different , love them both. 1290 probably the best engine to ever be put in a bike. I’ve just bought a 990 SM as a project build. Still got the Busa.
Which is quicker, would you say? I know the busa is much heavier. A friend had a 990 smt which was great, but felt way less smooth than my very modified bandit. His new 1290 is a bit quicker, not crazily so though.

Yes, there’s a fair bit of wobble going on in the steering, my Busa is setup well in the suspension and it never wobbles like that.
So what’s the point of wearing a t shirt over your leathers?
