I love how disabled characters get so much respect! This comic is honestly better then My Pride because less toxicity of a disabled character being treated like crap. *sorry Tribble*
It really resonates with me because my grandma was like that with me when my mom turned us away or couldn't do something for us she did it every single time. ❤
I love how at the beginning, all the prides Fade visits look different. They don’t all look the same. It reminds me of real life, where there’s different races and ethnicities, and no two look exactly alike. I also noticed the “scurriers” (meerkats) also all look different, no two look exactly the same. I also love all the disabled representation in here, and in the Thundering Mountains Pride, everyone’s just treated as normal, disabled or not. No one gets dehumanized, or special treatment. They’re all treated normally and like any other lion. And the cub with a blind (or partially, can’t tell) eye is treated like a normal cub too, and plays like a normal cub! I love this comic so much! The art style is awesome, I’ve always loved semi-realistic but also cartoony art styles, and that’s what I’m aiming for in my own. Hope’s VA has always been good at doing scenes where the character she’s playing is crying, as I’ve seen in TSH, and she did not disappoint in this one! Everyone did such a good job on this

I love the scene between Storm and Hope about how Hope misses Clever and the line “You’ll always miss her, and that’s okay” it holds so much value and helped me deal with my grandmother who I loved and lost, she was the Clever to my Hope; and it’s a very healing message. I Hope So is one of the best things I’ve come across and I hope more people discover this beautiful masterpiece of a series 💕
Female lions along with many species of mammals should not be parents to other females of the same species that doesn’t work in the biodiversity of mammals Besides over the countless eons of evolution and generations mammals always pair up and also mate with the males of the same species in order for them to have their young of their species which includes for female lions to breed with male lions in order for them to have their cubs!!

there is something SO delightful about how the thundering mountains pride is about old lions!! the fact they have this little heated water springs that they can use, which is a really creative choice, I lived in a city with those and the old people did use the hot water a lot!! it is wonderful for health,, and the fact they just. Care for their elders. Makes me happy!! It's rare to see that in lion themed stories (as naturally that's not occurring, but still!) Read this chapter agesss ago and seeing the amazing dub is neat!!
