THIS IS SO COOL! I've never seen this comic before and I'm awed at what you've created. The artist made gorgeous work and the voice actors did so well in bringing the characters to life-- and the editing can not be forgotten as it really ties everything together. I truly hope a season two happens, because you've gotten me addicted!

I honestly wasn't too excited about this at the start, but it's been a nice change of pace with what I'm used to. Very calm, but still enjoyable. Also, whoever did the art did an incredible job!

I remember reading this webcomic YEARS AGO when it first started coming out. Gosh, I miss it now. Unfortunately it was on DA and I got fed up with that platform. Deoprince is very friendly and SO SO talented. Can't wait to watch this later and see the rest of the story!!

I love how there is new content on this channel! I do love the Undertale stuff too but it's nice to have change of pace once on a while! The story and art of this series looks like so much fun!! But I have to say something...hearing Snas' voice coming from a deer made me laugh so hard! 😂 I qas half expecting to he him say "I'm Sans. Sans the deer." 😂😂

I was always afraid of there was a dub of this, Runi would just sound like a little kid haha so great job! I will say I don't really care for the censoring certain words of the comic, since it is a 16+ comic anyway, but I really enjoyed myself and I really hope that despite some of the naysayers, that you consider continuing with a part 2.

There’s been a weird influx of dark, adult webcomics with visual styles incredibly reminiscent of animal Disney films. “My Pride” and “I Hope So” for The Lion King and now “Golden Shrike” for Bambi.
There seem to be a few lines that are missing. Idk if thats intentional or accidental, but its the only thing I take issue with here. I love all the voices! They're really fitting, the music is great and the sound effects gave me a good chuckle! The way this is edited and presented too... No notes on anything there
Woah!! I had no idea about this whole story, I only knew the PMV which was uploaded quite a while ago but that set me off to start drawing deer and I spent about a month studying them. Now to know that there is so much more to this story, I would love to follow along and support it!
I did not see sans, I did not smell sans existing in this comic. I full out was crying in the bathroom because of this I CAN NOT BELIEVE that you removed sans the skeleton SANS DESERVED TO BE IN THIS TOTALLY UNDERTALE THEMED COMIC. 0/10
Why is some of the text not being read? The scene were the mom and daughter are talking and then later when they ask the brown deer about his scars are both left completely silent.
I love the music at the start- it reminds me so much of legend of zelda music, maybe that one track of minecraft music. I also love the video and art itself, great job!

38:22. I had a weird dream like this once. I was up there at the cliff where the tree was. The air was cold. And the horizon was white, and the sky was purple and blue with many stars. and there was a hole in the tree, much like a portal. But when I get too close to it, 3d letters would float up in front of me, like the golden letters that would pop up when you approach the portals in the game spyro. But these ones said "You don't have enough experience to traverse the next stage. Please come back another time." Not just that, but there was this invisible wall that prevented me from getting closer to the tree. So, I turned around and instead turned back to the meadow. Where there were soo many deer sitting around in the grass. Some were huge, while others were smaller. They all had almost the same color "brown" as they didn't have the vibrant ones like in the comment when the main chatacters went to the field of diverse deer species. I saw Kasko, I saw bambi, the adolescent one with the rack horns. I saw many other deer, sitting in groups and chatting. There was even this one with falcon wings, with friends who gathered around, all sitting with him to admire his wings. I found a group, and sat in the grass with the deer. They greeted with me with smiles, and tried to speak, but no words came out for some reason. Only the sound of the piano theme and the distant chirping of birds and the crickets. I didn't mind, I only understood by their body language and their facial expressions. And then I woke up. Also merry Christmas!
The Sire: "Should everyone die because one cannot stay on their feet?" Runi: "What if it had been your own daughter? Would you have left her, too?" The Sire: _"Yes."_ The pained look on little Virva's face when her own father, whom she looks up to so much says this is so sad. I initially decided to start reading this comic because it looked interesting, and now I'm hooked! The additions of the voice acting also make it even better. This comic reminds me of another comic on DeviantArt called "Horse Age" by BUGHS-22. The protagonist in that comic is very similar to Nero and Runi, and like them, is completely against the "don't look back" attitude that is enforced, and also believes that all members of a herd should protect and look out for each other instead of just abandoning them to save their own hides.

My only critique on the scene is that at 19:14ish, I would have put a yelp instead of a bark.
