I love what Fractal design is doing with modern cases. Finally making aesthetically pleasing cases that don't scream GAMER! Like a piece of furniture that accents the room rather than throws it off.
Agreed, I spent more time on my newest build finding a case than anything else. For SFF builds there is now a pretty good choice of beautiful cases (for a price), but for desktop workstation builds, we def need more companies like Fractal making interesting and pleasing designs.
This just shows Matt's attention to detail, he even swapped out the rubber parts of the noctua fan just to get that slight brown touch like whats on the Fractal case he used 🔥
😊🙌 Thanks for pointing that out. Sure, you can’t see those details when the case is closed… but I know they are there and I’m proud of that 🪵 it’s all in the details
sorry but that doesn't make any sense, because it's a close box nothing to show, i understand it's nice but useless as detail mater when you can view the inside
@@mateoharmiss5830Some people pay for carbon fibre engine covers on their cars… wear designer underwear, get body piercings in forbidden places, all of which other people can’t see. but they know it’s there, it’s how it makes you feel. Details matter to some people and that’s absolutely fine 🙂

Matt, your lighting is perfection. From the sublimely lit opening story scene, through to the perfect tonality on every single frame, pale skin tones to deepest blacks … wow! I don’t know if many people understand how much skill, time or creative vision is required to achieve this. And the build is beautiful too, so classy. Now watching again :-)
So glad you include little outtakes from your builds. This build is one of my favorite as I've been so on the fence about converting my atx build into an ITX using a case like this one recently. 🤔
I dont usually watch pc building videos but as im waiting for my parts and that case i had to see what kind of pc:s people have created and literally first video i see is this masterpiece :D Also those bloopers in the end were nice i wish more did the same and showed not everything goes perfectly everytime.
First time watcher of the channel. The way you do your builds is super aesthetic. I've opted for an NR200P, but the compactness and wooden accents of the Terra is so gorgeous, it's giving me second thoughts. You definitely earned another sub 🙌🏽
For anyone building in this case, the bottom fan should be exhaust. The case has plenty of intake from the side. A bottom intake just recirculates the same hot air inside from the GPU and CPU.
But wouldnt the hot air exhausted from bottom raise and get sucked in from sides again too? I mean im no expert but logically that would also happen, I think?
Have just bought this case (In Jade) for my next build. Never built an ITX before and you're video came straight up when I searched for a build using a Fractal case - Love it. 😊😊
For the GPU there is no problem with temperature, but for the CPU I haven't found a cooler that fits the size of the motherboard, because I have to limit the CPU Power Limit to 65Watt or my CPU can reach 100°C, but from this video I think the CPU cooler (ID Cooling IS-55) is worth trying.

You are so innovative. Your videos are so well produced. Attention to details is getting improved with every new video you upload. Top notch production! Keep up great work! I have just build midi-ATX in Fractal Design North. Been thinking a lot about Terra and iTX but wasn't courage enough. My next build is definitely iTX perfection like this.
I love the terra case. If I was building PC right now I would use that case. The little bit of wood + dark theme is so much better than RGB in my opinion. And of course the mini-itx size is also visually pleasing.
Your production value has always been supreme IMO. One nitpick though - since the GPU was mounted vertically on the side, it's actually blowing air OUT against that side and not an intake. :)
Fractal Terra is really satisfying to build, in real life it looks and feels much better than in video. I build my PC with it last week and it was nice. One thing I want to note is CPU cooler placement, you can try to upside down it and get more cooling for SSD and DDR for the same time. Great content as always 👍
i'm using this for building an ai client on for my portfolio. I wanted it to be as cheap as possible (with the exception of the GPU whilst i get to know the GPU requirements & cases thermals). I also am studying at the moment so wanted to re-use parts from my old pc. Its the only instance where i've had to buy a non ASUS MB (Gigabyte 550). The temptation to go big like this was almost overpowering but i ended up with a Ryzen 5 5600x, Asus 4070 Super Dual Evo, Samsung 990 inc Heatsink 2TB, Noctua NH-L9a-AM cooler and 64gb ram and fans salvaged from my old pc. I'm really intrigued about the thermals, and whether it can fit a small liquid cooler (stuff's arriving in a few days), either custom or low profile 1-fan. Aside from the GPU, it cost me £600 I would have loved to go AM5 so i could use asus but having the RAM already would have added about £100. Love the vids
Thank you, glad someone has common decency to not violate our vision with gaudy and tacky lights. Just wondering if any motherboard manufacturers out there that do not put big piece of IO ports on their board? If going for minimalist look, I would prefer if there were no useless ports taking up space. I mean do people even use all those ports anymore? They did away with it on laptops and on Macs.
Beautiful build, beautiful video, so clean that it looks like fresh from blender! I especially like your choose of components. Instead of using the most high end CPU you went for a less power consuming one, focusing a cooler and quieter system for the small form factor. Have you thought about using the Noctua NH-L12Sx77 with 6 heatpipes instead? I would be really interested how it would compete in terms of thermal performance and noise. Thank you and keep up the great content!
Love it so clean the only horror pc story i have is in 2011 i bought a prebuilt asus and it had 11 fragile stickers and opened the box and it was broken

It kind of gives off a retro gamer aesthetic as well. I look at this and the North and couldn't help but think of the Atari 2600.

The whole video is a piece of art, congratulation. Well done. Pure inspirational, I now want to build one for myself 😁
I love the ambience of your studio. It all fits together really well and the small PC integrates really well into it. Another great video. Love it 💯👍❤

Yet another beautiful build. The attention to details like the fan corner pads make all the difference.
Hell yes! That heatsink fitment tickles the ITX OCD. Also... this particular Terra has a gorgeous walnut grain
Absolutely fantastic build as usual. The outtakes at the end were a great touch :D

just build in this exact case, remarkably simple considering the super compact size. you certainly know how to show it off big time

Slightly but not nearly as much as blowing the GPU exhaust directly back up to the GPU.@@SurrealLeaf
Came to say this, Optimum Tech did extensive testing in sandwich style cases and found exhaust worked the best.
What if you had an exhaust fan at the top of the case above the end of the GPU and PSU? Bottom 120 intake top 90mm exhaust??
Exhaust top and bottom? Or bottom exhaust and top intake?

Love this case so stylish and elegant! Would love to see a Thermaltake tower 300 build!
Loved that build. So much detail. Thanks for your work, Matt. And that wasted joke at the end. 🙈
These videos really blend gaming PC builds into art.
I've been using this case for a year, it's small, compact and simple, but still powerful.
Does the side panel grate produce a lot of noise like some reviews say? Which GPU are you using?
is it able to cool your components? what gpu and cpu r u using? I really want to make my new build in this case, but afraid of its cooling performance
I don't have any problems like that, I use an RTX 4070 Ti.
