- My ramblings on the Meiji F410 1.4 SP, in my opinion better made than the Iwata W400/LPH400, I can't honestly say it better than the standard W400 but it's as good so definitely a good alternative, hope you enjoy the video 😀

Thanks Pete informative as ever 🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Hi Dean, Thanks mate, hope you're well. Are you still working part-time?
@@peteshobbies5383 yeah on the wind down now mate 😉😉😉😉😉
Hi Pete, another great video mate and the F410 looks a great gun and it looks well made, when you took it apart it struck me as being a bit of a Iwata come Devilbiss hybrid the shape of the tip is a bit like a Devilbiss as is the inside of the cap but from the outside the cap looks more like an Iwata as does the body of the gun🤔
As for the spraying side it did an amazing job on the base and clear, when you had it as 33psi it gave a big fan but to me it looked like it was over atomising the clear and there was more overspray but at 29psi (2bar) it was much better and the gloss on the wing looked great, loved the colour you have there mate👌👏
Thanks Pete👍
Hi John, The F410 is a good value for money guns, good performance, and well-made.
It's really struck me as to how different it is compared to the W400 in the way it's made. As you say, very much Devilbiss meets Anest Iwata
Cheers buddy, hope alls well 👍
Yeah it certainly looks like a well made gun for the price. You said it's better made than the W400 which is a good gun so the F140 must be very nice to use🤔
I'm wondering if I've done the right thing getting the R500, I'm hoping it will be a better gun than the copies of the DV1 and GTI ProLite😁 time will tell I guess. I ended up ordering the PPS V1 copy that we were talking about a couple of days ago, they are less than half price for a 100 kit so I hope they will be ok and the liners won't be cheaply made and to stiff to collapse in the outer cup🤔again time will tell🤞👍
@JohnWD40TC02 The 500s aren't too bad, especially when you consider how much they are. From memory, I think the NVE sprays better, I haven't tried them back to back, but I will get around to it. I hope.
It's interesting to see what you think of the PPS set you've ordered, as you say, they are cheaper. Trying them is the only way to know if you like them mate, hopefully they'll be fine 🙂 👍
Nothing wrong with that finish, May have gotten flatter with both coats at 2. Definitely had the clear coat flying, thank you
Hi Bryan, Yes, I think you're right, 2 bar is all it needs for clearcoat, it really does depend on the clear used and the finish you want, I always try to get a good thickness of coating on car panels, it allows for flatting if needed and tends to allow for scratches to be removed in the future if needed, thanks for watching mate, much appreciated 👍
Thanks for the review, Pete. I'm off to PTJ to have a 😮look at what the price is now. 👍well, ouldnt find lit listed on the eBay website
Hi David, I had a look, and it's not, I've messaged them, so hopefully, they will put one up.
I ordered stuff via Instagram, so I didn't realise they didn't have it listed on Ebay.
The discount should be 7% so not bad for nothing, cheers mate 👍
@peteshobbies5383 I really think I want to try a finer core, but if I'm a die-hard, slower iwata lph400 fan . Should I get the 1.3 or 1.5. I'm not a fast gun kinda guy. Thanks
They are quite small physically, so not the fastest guns out there, but I think if you value precision over speed, then the 1.3 none HVLP would be the way to go
@@peteshobbies5383 then that's what I'll buy👍👍
Hello. Good videos that you produce well done. Can you tell me which small reg would you recommend. The one attached to the gun. Thanks.
Thanks, buddy. I genuinely enjoy making the videos.
I use the Meiji MARD digital or MAR no digital regulator most of the time these days. It has a built-in diaphragm, so it really smooths out the air flow.
The one I would recommend without a diaphragm is the ANI regulator, which is not expensive and well made
Which spray gun is a better gun?? Meiji fine core or the guns on this video??
Hi James, It would be the Finer Core, but it is twice the price, so it should be
Nice gun pete that iwata ws400 as that got split TECHNOLOGY fluid tip like a tulip is that the 1 .4
Hi mate, this is a 1.3 . The LPH400 also has a 4 split tip 👍
I just bought a kiwami 4 days ago from them
Oh no, sorry buddy, it was only sorted out today, hence the video, you'll love the Kiwami4, good guns
What adapter are you using to fit the small size cups? Thank you
Hi, it's not an adaptor. it's a small cup, I get them on Ebay

I’ve seen painting tools Japan on eBay before and have considered buying something. Just out of curiosity Pete is there any import chargers on any purchases coming into the uk from Japan
Hi James, the answer is yes, sometimes, I always go into it thinking it can happen and if it doesn't then your quids in, there's no duty as such, it's VAT and a courier handling fee, depending on the courier as they use a few different ones
@@peteshobbies5383 ok thanks for that 👍
@jamesfell4793 You're welcome, buddy 👍
Thanks for the time and effort for those reviews. The Meiji air regulator you are using is it a true diaphragm or just a cheater like most on the market?
Hi buddy, thank you. The MARD and MAR both have a diaphragm
@@peteshobbies5383 Thanks.
Hello Pete,,it seems I can't find Meiji f410 in the link that you gave..may I ask the price?
I'm looking for a primer spray gun,,I used to be using other model Meiji spraygun ..
Hi buddy, this one isn't on Ebay at the moment, I have messaged them, so hopefully, they will put one on soon.
I did say in the video that it was about 160 GBP, which was directly via instagram, Postage was extra , I bought it with other things so paid an all together postage, it was over a year ago, so it may be more expensive now, I guess anyway
@@peteshobbies5383 yeah, everything getting expensive these days.. anyway thank you..😄👍
@reyjr3608, you're welcome, mate 👍
@@peteshobbies5383 hello Pete.. sorry if I'm out of topic.. there's a new spraygun from Japan called lumaiii exodus..I was planning to get sagola 4600 as a clear gun,but this new spraygun, makes me not sure anymore..do you have experience using it?may I ask your opinion which one should I get to spray clear on a big project.. thanks in advance..

my head stuck between choice finer 2plus or f410 sp 1,4mm , what you prefer for best.thanks a lot
Hi Sudiman, I have both, and they are quite different. The F2Plus is a midi size side cup, so it is more suited to smaller areas.
The F410 is very much in the full-size centre cup field of guns, so it depends on what you want from the gun. Both are very good👍
thanks a lot a Petes for you advice, my prefer choice is F410. hope the atomization is similiar.
@sudirmandirman811 You're welcome 😊, The F2Plus does atomise a little finer than the F410. It is also much slower, they are quite different but you can get great results with both
@@peteshobbies5383 just take order F410. thanks
That looks like more like the r500 than the w400 does
Hi James, on looks, it certainly does , but as you can see, it's made quite differently, the R500 uses the W400 as its inspiration in that the tips, caps etc are interchangeable, these they are not, cheers mate 👍
