Rodney is a beast on the drums! I saw him in about 03-05 and he had the whole drum cage built around him. It wasn't about pounding and strength, it was all finesse with little cymbals and other contraptions to keep time with.
Can I have a little less drums in my monitor please? Great show, thanks for sharing
Were you there too? Love from Cambodia.
not with rodney drumming!
what are those? lipstick-style pickups he's using in the Strat? that's different. Nice sound, though.
Called "lipstick tube pickups" made popular on Danelectro guitars of the 50s/60s. Seymour Duncan makes reissues to spec if you're interested.
Rodney has got to be the greatest drummer of all time!
I really like how your band jams without vocals.
Thanks Charlie Miller
How is it that Taylor Swift is a household name and and ask 10 random people who Steve Kimock is and you're lucky to get one. So much creatively, musicality and brilliance here.
Thanks Charlie and Arielle! Wonderful sound, video, and mix. Thanks Steve, Mitch, Rodney, and Arne! Awesome and uplifting music, and allowing us to see/hear for free. Blessings to all!
How these remember all that complex material is astounding (not to mention their extraordinary playing skills!).
Wow! This was my first SKB experience. So amazing! Thank you for sharing. Wonder if there is a video from the main stage day set the following day?
That lineup is my favorite of all the various incarnations of Kimock’s band. Thanks so much for posting.😊
It was fantastic, so happy in the Funkin Jam House. What great times
So clean SO GOOD 👍😊 SO KIMOCKS 🥌 ROCKS

Amazing you got to see this live … I’ve seen Kimock quite a few times he’s a god
Thank you for posting all the videos. The Bowery Ballroom in 03’ with Arne, wow! Such a great music and concert experience.
Love me Some Steve Kimock
Trrrriiipppping
There IS still good in the world!!!! 😊🎉😮
This is a band that completely replaced KVHW it’s a sad comparison it is nothing like it the soul was gone No Bobby Vega really The style we loved changed for worse in numerous unfortunate ways
Please bring KVHW back
“The ego is a thief in our house that is allowed to stay “
Amma
Love your sound and tone.
maybe i was out of mind to think guys could bring back guitar playing at least as a lead to something like emotion
7
Timeless.
Greatly appreciated.
This is usually why I run everything without pedals because sometimes it's better just to hear your amp and then use your tone as a volume and you spend more time playing and less time thinking about the sound and dealing with an array of pedals or some sort of buttons to push...this is a great performance however nothing I'm saying should take away from that I'm just looking at it as if I was on stage...
Cole's Law (coleslaw) one of my all time favorite songs. Watching here he absolutely feels every note.
This is great. Thanks for uploading.
Is this a matrix or sbd? Sounds excellent!
Sounds like matrix for drums to me but it sounds great
It's a matrix, and NOBODY does this better than Charlie and Arielle. They have some of the best sounding live recordings I've ever heard. Anywhere. Especially of Kimock because he gives them access to put mics anywhere.
Beautiful show. Thanks.
butstill enjoy your music that makes 2580 people who know your good
theres souck a void between amazing and american idol butsome of those studio guys can play well but you played in jerrys place and i loved your guitar playing but that was many years ago
So so so so good.
Awesome!!!!
Really cool gig
Thank you Charlie!
thats a challenge do something im talking to everyone who never did anything including myself so now is your chance to shine
Huh?
Yep, I was there. Fantastic!
Must have been nice to experience that live!
That looks another like father on the synthesizer!
@@nathanpowell429 That's Peter Apfulbaum from Trey Band.
I must have been really high, this music is really boring sober
