A mistake for competitive yes. A mistake for fun HELL NO 🗣
That’s what I’m saying!
Pretty simple way to look at it. And yeah, true.
Some of them do need to be tweaked though. Probably. Just so it’s not a case of “build this or you aren’t gonna win because the other person built it”
Instead of nerfing items, let's buff others and let the chaos ensue
Yessir
The weak items will still be weak unless HiRez really buffs it. Look at Stormseeker. Idk if its any good now, but I havent seen it built. So, unless they buff it insanely, it will still be weak.
@@cybzer0560 If there was a meta shift from early game focus to late game focus then stormseeker would become extremely good, but I don't see that ever happening with Smite 2 coming up. If they keep buffing it the item will be broken and not because of the passive.
@@cybzer0560 Stormseeker isn’t weak per say. It’s just that there are very few gods that can use it effectively, those being Charybdis, Izanami, Nut, and Erlang (according to the SPL jungle builds).
@@LynR.M.1378I got destroyed by a hachiman running it, but I'm kind of trash so you know lol
Next thing you know boots and rituals are back 💀
hell no, boots removal was probably one of the best decisions smite ever made, keep it that way
Boots won't return 💀
how about combat blink?
@@San-cb9mj yeah i hope they dont come back, i never played when they were in the game. I started when they were removed but i’ve heard they’re pretty dumb.
I thought I’d miss boots but nah I’m good 😂😂
Hide of the Nemean Lion should have never left the game. There needs to be some counter building to ADC's for tank and the most we had in usable items were Midgardian Mail and Bewitched Relic Dagger. Crits were settled down quite a bit over the last few patches so Spectral hasn't really been needed. They then boosted all ability-based ADC's for a few patches before nerfing them and then doing the 9.5 revert so everyone is squishy again. Auto based ADC's are much better now because each auto is hitting for a lot more and they have some great protection shred items that can just tear into tanks pretty freely if they don't have good sustain. Hasten Fatalis has always been a problematic item and combine that with Ichval, Hacate's Ring, and the other protection shred items, auto attack ADC's are doing as much damage to Tanks as they are to anyone else. I was getting absolutely demolished by a Freya the other day and there's just very little ways to get around their damage. Hide of the Nemean Lion provides at least some counter play into Auto Attack ADC's, as well as other Auto Attack Tanks like Amaterasu or Erlong Shen (with his buff this patch) and them building Equinox. In a team fight an ADC can quickly burst down a Tank and suffer zero problems from that. At least Hide of the Nemean Lion and Thorns provide SOME consequences for hitting a Tank in a team fight before they get killed. It forces ADC's to pick their targets better instead of holding left click and "w" to win a team fight.
This.
I understand why they brought hastened fatalis back. But they need to remove the pen at the minimum.
Pretty sure none of the hastened items had pen before the patch.
Fatalis shouldn’t either.
It’s already annoying getting chased down by a hunter that can just hold left click and suffer 0 casualties unless someone builds Hide.
Fatalis and Shifter’s shield are the most problematic imo.
Phoenix shield isn’t as annoying as people think.
man just bring back everything. If everything is OP, nothing is
Bro been watching too much incredibles 1
Truest statement
Fact
I don't see wtf the problem is with nemean, I see only smite players crying about AA reflect items. Predecessor, DOTA and LoL all have items that do the same. And in the case of LoL and Pred, they even apply antiheal. What is it with specifically smite players that causes them to cry about this item so much?
ADC mains like big numbers and don't like consequences. Also, their argument is that you have to actually aim in this game so its not fair that they're getting punished for having good aim, where as in DOTA and LoL you don't have to aim so it "make sense that they have their damage reflected." I don't like that argument because it doesn't make any sense.
@@TheAce5399hitting aa is so easy so I dot get the argument tbh
Honestly I’m not sure. Bc I play league too and the equivalent is thornmail which is even better than nemean in smite.
Because your avarage hunter players want all the pros with no drawbacks to playing the class
“I didn’t kill a god in 5 basics, uninstall, bad game”
Seriously I hate hunter gameplay.
There are very few hunters that are fun to play and they are basically any hunter that doesn’t have a stim ability.
They should reduce Fatalis' haste effect for ranged attacks from 100% to 25% and maybe it only procs every other ranged auto. It would make it a lot healthier and it would still have some sort of effects on gods that really want the passive, like Freya or Charybdis. That's all Fatalis really needs to be kept in line since it's stats are bad.
This definitely seems like a healthy fix.
The trigger every other auto doesn’t make sense since you tend to be hitting multiple autos in a few seconds even with default attack speed. But reducing the effectiveness for ranged attacks is nice.
Also would the Chile item or whatever it’s called stop freya? Would it cancel her abilities once she hits you once?
Well counter adc items are needed to help make it so they don't just easily shred with little worry other than oh hey a burst is near.
Nemian's lion however could work if it simply wasn't always up. If it worked simialr to Mail of Renewal in the refelct ramps up then 'triggers' a max reflect vaule for a few seconds before going on a long cooldown where no passive reflect was active. or simply the reflect gets triggered on receiving an auto for a few seconds before going on cooldown. Either way it allows tanks a way to still have more options to go against adcs while allowing adcs to be able to play around it.
Honestly I can understand the “I shouldn’t be punished for dealing damage” mindset.
But there is no real item to counter adcs. Either spend a ton of gold for a glyph in relic dagger or get midgardian, which midgardian isn’t good.
They are only useful in duel and maybe joust. Not any 5v5 mode.
I’d be completely fine if they removed the damage and made it say Newman gives “15% reduced damage from basics and basic item effects.” Or something along that line.
Cause that would help deal with quin sais. Which by itself does half of a hunters damage.
@@sanga1380I think reduced damage/basic attack item dmg is a healthier idea. A little annoying, would probably need tweaking, but it does beat potentially killing someone because they hit you
Spot the adc mains in the comment section, wow that wasn't hard
lol same with tanks. I’m a tank main.
Seriously though I understand changing Hide. But you can’t have fatalis on hunters without letting the tanks punish them.
It is also one of those things where kuzenbo punished hunters way more and they can’t really touch him at all.
While on other tanks it isn’t as effective. Still good. But it’s not killing the hunters.
Also fatalis isn’t as terrible as people think.
It’s just hunters in general. They are the most unbalanced gods in the game. Mainly their items.
Quin sais is too powerful of an item and Hirez hasn’t done anything about it.
Compared to its equivalents of heartseeker and soulreaver.
Heartseeker/soulreaver does less damage from multiple hits right?
But quins doesn’t. Every basic is an automatic 6% health in end game. And when a god is gonna hit 10 basics in 2-3 seconds. You can’t survive.
Paired with fatalis, you can’t get away from them anymore.
Done testing.
With a full build. Quins alone does half of your damage. No item should be that powerful.
2:23 In assault I like pairing this with the Vampire Shroud starter item to keep topped off on Health and Mana for MUCH longer than everyone else.
Tank Tiamat is back on the menu bois
@@excursor4296didn’t even think about that.
I do wanna try out fatalis jorm or something though. Gonna look so silly.
Honestly, for Fatalis I wouldn't mind if it returned to is beta-S3 itiration where it didn't have pen and was basically just attack speed and a passive. Back then it was mostly bought by AA assassins and Freya due to it offering basically no benefit to an ADC's power curve. Was also the healthiest the item's ever been since it was a luxury pick that you bought exclusively for the passive since it offered basically nothing offensively otherwise.
I honestly have a hard time thinking SMITE 1 is going to just die. From everything I’ve seen SMITE 2 simply is not ready and may just not be fun on launch
You’re probably right. The game is still a long way from entirely replacing Smite 1. Game needs a lot of optimization improvements before I’ll consider maining the game
Also they aren’t gonna have a lot of gods from smite 1 on launch.
Shouldn’t be difficult to move some of them over but they re change how a lot of abilities work. So yeah it’ll take time.
You said that if smite 1 had a future this patch would be bad for the game but then said that 80% of the features added were great additions to make the game healthier. I dont get that.
Haha agreed. The dude was just contradicting himself lol. I personally think this patch is great. Could use some tune ups but nothing major.
Smite 1 doesn’t have a future idk what ur on abt. It has a max 1 year more on its life span.
Ichaival: wanted it to return for a long time. When envenomed executioner became available, toxic blade was just not worth building. Another boxing type item was needed. Now, they went with the old passive (lowering power) instead of the more recent attack speed slow. The power reduction is better, although I would have 1. made it a stronger buff/debuff and 2. made it just basic attack power instead of power from items. It feels really good with Manakin mace, so there's some good cheese there.
Nemean: the classic basic attack dmg reflect is so nice. The block stack version was a crime against humanity, but it's so nice to have this version back. Granted, I play lots of Kuzenbo with thorns, so it's a biased viewpoint.
Fatalis: oddly, it was fine for a long time. Then they added pen and it became broken, so it was removed. The oddest thing was that the version they brought back has pen. It's too good to rush now and carries over into late game too well.
Ancile: I probably built runic more, but this is nice for the nostalgia.
What was the name of the sword that used to give your basic attack an area damage? i used it to make my mercury build when i was jungle main, but i miss being able to clear a buff camp without abilitys early game.
Golden blade. Was removed not too long ago because they added golden shard for early game which basically does the same thing.
@@sanga1380 kinda gave up playing for a while when they started taking items away, and adding other stuff in, I'll have to jump back on I'll let ya know how it goes, thank you for the name for both!.

3:52 u should do a video on this triangle sometime
If Arthur breaks phoenix shield like he did old glad shield, then they gotta make it so Arthur's yellow abilities don't activate item effects or something.
Enemies also getting anti heal when they should helps too.

Fatalis is such a noob friendly item and it has basically no counter play, it's stats are not bad eitheir. Obviously is not meta in everyone but the effect is way too good. I went against a poseidon with fatalis, manakin and gem of iso, good luck hitting him with anything, dude was zoomin

Inter, if i may, id like to ask if you can explain (maybe in a video) how is it that, when you lose, you lose big time and when you win, you win big time? Especially in Arena, the "very close" games are few and far between. It often feels like i can make no impact on the game (bad game is 2/10/x, good game is 15/5/x). Is this just in normal non ranked games? Is this strictly bad luck cause of team composition? Or are the builds/ counter builds to strong in play?
Do typically your “bad games” with a negative K/D probably has a lot of assists because the enemy team is focusing you more than the rest or your supports are leaving you to die.
Don’t use arena as an example. It’s purely a mode to mess around with.
@@sanga1380 often alot of assists yes. But it feels bad AF when i get 10k dmg as scylla, on the other hand 55k as AA Poseidon. I just...dont understand it - but i would love to understand it! Else ill just stop playing and assign it to poor skills
As someone who was never here for these items I’m loving them! I have something to try and test for myself for once and it’s quite fun learning why these items are in the game.
I'm an ADC main and I never got the chance to use Hastened Fatalis, it had already been removed before I even started.
I did an assault with Fatalis Bake. That was fun.
Try fatalis jorm or Fafnir.
When the patch dropped, I went against a Freya and she destroyed my whole team with fatalis, I completely forgot that she abuses it lol gave me season 4 vibes seeing her run my team over
I’ve been a freya main for years and I’ll happily trade fatalis in for hastened ring back. These two items are core items for freya to be viable.
They should do more every old item and passive back full fuck it mode
As someone who was pretty stupid back when old glad shield was a thing (I built soul eater because it "triggered on minions too"), playing with Phoenix shield on Arthur was so fun I immediately understood why people liked it and why it was too strong. Regular 2v1 double kills is too much.
Honestly Hide of the Urchin, Combat Blink, Longer Blink, and some other old items can come back.
I am loving this patch, the different combos/gods/builds you can play is amazing. I've always been a fan of "off picks/builds" that shock tge enemy team because they aren't standard. This patch is amazing. Guardians are so fun, all the magical adc are back in. They are clearly going to nerf TF out of some of these new items which I understand... 😢
Build selfish fafnir support sooo fun. Shield of Phoenix on yemo, spam her abilities during her ult which they lowered the CD, so good. Shield of Phoenix on cerb, money. Adc posiden is fun AF, hell I like doing AA jungle posiden (manikins)...hidden blade..
These items open up so much for those that know how to build good, until the main builds get heavily discovered and "reccomend"
I've been hooked in again.
pheonix shield on cuthulu with vamp shroud and warlocks build is fun af.
Fatalis is the only item I really didn't like going against (had to go against Freya and Charybdis in a game with this, and the Freya destroyed my team completely, even with anti auto attack items being built)
how about removing the pen from fatalis, bc i remember the time before fatalis had pen and nobody was building it and i only built it on medusa, but would shit stats balance out the passive? genuine question btw as someone who was there at the start of the broken fatalis era
Im very happy ancile was returned. It was my main counter item towards enemey magical junglers as arachne, as it let me get close and kill them easier. It completely shuts down kuang which is very nice for sure. Plus i always liked to build at least 1 counter bruiser item on arachne due to her having to be close to do damage, and that was great. Honestly happy i can god a bit brusiery arachne and still get some crazy damage now.
Fatalis... that item really should not be allowed for hunters, not with those stats. Its meant to be a luxury semi crutch item, but with those stats its a must build. Remove something from it or make it much more expensive, if not outright remove it
It literally has weak stats for early. Its a late game item. Its stayin just the way it os. Shifters could be tweaked
If you want fatalis gone then hide has to go with it. you can’t just completely destroy adcs lmao
@@wolfbair7617hide isn’t an issue.
You just build one life steal item.
Which most of the good hunter builds use life steal anyway.
It also doesn’t affect item effects like quin sais which is half of a hunters damage in one item.
Make an actual build that isn’t just pure damage and it will probably go better for you.
Ngl i love those changes, but my teamates are strugling alot.
Out of my last 40 games i dont think one of my teamates went positive.
Might just be matchmaking or something else. But sometime its clearly wrong.
Hastened Fatalis has been the most fun thing since it was removed, i just run Chary and throttle the living hell out of anything squishy. Kuzenbo though, i fear that turtle.
Hide of nemean was good mainly cause back then it was the only item that curbed crit meta from being as bad as it can be, it honestly wasn’t hard to counter with life steal or focused targeting. It honestly just made adc players mad cause they couldn’t hold w and left click all game.
Hasten I very much consider bad, the item is a major buff for freya most of all. She won’t be as much of a menace as she once was but she’ll definitely be back in the meta a the very least. On top of the other magical adcs that frequently used it.
Idk why Stone cutting was even removed. It was a great item for AA heavy junglers.
Ich same for stone cutting but mainly idk why it was removed.
I don’t remember shield of the phoenix so I can’t comment.
Shifter shield definitely will be nice for solo players and I loved picking it up.
Doesn’t even mention Chile or whatever it’s called.
Honestly fair it’s more of a counter pick item meant to target gods that rely on channeled abilities or ability spam.
Tank player here. I don’t like the idea of Nemean Lion, and I don’t like ‘new’ Contagion either. I will never like items that punish your enemies for simply responding to you.
BUUUT I currently could not give less of a shit, I’d say the game is fun as hell atm
God, it feels so amazing to have shifter’s back.
End of Smite 1 should be all gods at their best (Release Bellona, Release Surtr etc) with all items back - boots
Hasten Fatalis should have never seen the light of day again. Lord have mercy. 🤦♂
What makes fatalis stupid in my opinion is that it removes the penalty for strafing and backpedaling as well. If the item only removed the basic attack movement penalty like the description says, then I don’t think it will be such an unhealthy item.
I figure it’s like this in Smite because haha spaghetti code, and Smite is on its last legs anyway so it’s not a big deal. But please change it in Smite 2. (Or if the devs wont change the effect, at least make it an active item.)
@@Cutter-o5f Fatalis doesn’t affect the backpedal or strafing penalty.

I'm surprised they brought fatalis back and not golden bow
Well, the past few months are the first time I've genuinely enjoyed smite in years, so yes, this is good. Not really caring about smite 2 right now actually, just playing smite 1.
Smite 2 is still alpha so yeah. Don’t blame you for not being interested as much.
Personally though the god changes for smite 2 are amazing.
I'm not joking when I say that I would literally be okay with removing every new item in this patch if that's what it took to get rid of Fatalis.
Saw someone mention reducing the effect for ranged autos. So a you can still get away from them instead of just having to forfeit your life.
Been having too much fun with fatalis faf I happy
Hasten could work as: once hitting a basic on a god you are given two seconds of haste with a cooldown of 4 seconds. During cooldown you get a movement speed or haste effect decaying over 3.5 seconds.
I prefer movement because if you want to keep hitting you will need to learn to space out your autos.
Also get rid of the movement innate on the item.
That's literally Atlanta's bow and hastened ring......
@@isaacvitela5131 if they want one item for both dmg types then make it a moshposh of both items.
@excursor4296 so hasten fatalis then?
@@isaacvitela5131its hastened the reason atlantas bow was bad is because it required you to get the kill.
Any item that says you have to be the person to kill the god isn’t a good item.
Personally, i feel like bringing these back made tanks, war, and so on, harder to kill and thus more powerful.
As a fithly casual these days, when i play mage, there is a noticeable decrease to damage done and these items are in pretty much every game. Especially shiffters
i dont thin Nemean lion is that bad because you lifesteal more than it deals damage back with just devos. they with need to build this and anti heal for it to be a problem.
I think nemean MIGHT have been troublesome if it was 25%, but with only 15% and thorns working like one of the old aegis? it gets countered by lifesteal
This exactly.
Just building deaths toll counters it. And if you want a different starter.
Almost AA hunters tend to build soul eater. Besides hunters don’t get to complain if they are gonna be stupid.
I’ll watch a hunter thow 1-2 basics at the person with Nemean. And then the tank just heals that damage because they have more hp5.
I honestly think nemean is up there with fatalis because inter doesn’t want people to get mad because “he is targeting hunters”
@@sanga1380 Why would an AA hunter build Soul Eater?

Fafnir Fatalis.
lol it translated to fafnir the fatal.
Fatal indeed. Very fatal.
Me waiting for them to revert Persephone, chances slim, still hopeful.
I want them to give her the Cliodhna treatment of lacking lockdown CC so her dmg is slightly more justified, aka give the ultimate to a Smite 2 newcomer.
Also in regards to Hastened Fatalis, I think it would be cool if you got the haste effect for 20 seconds after landing a kill, that way the hunter doesn't come swinging right out the gate, they gotta get their kill.
Same sorta idea should be applied to Stormseeker where landing a kill could give you 5 or 10 stacks.
Also during the update show, they did clarify they would be bringing the items back at their strongest so nerfs and adjustments are coming anyways
Yeah this is basically just watching which items need to be adjusted or which gods would need adjusted so that they don’t break the game with certain items.
@@domiansso Her ultimate is her only CC
@lynettemurray1331 yes, I did say that they should give her the Cliodhna treatment, where she lacks CC in exchange for her high dmg, IMO it's the most braindead part of her kit n would be much more fitting on a Guardian or a newcomer in Smite 2.
Let's be real it's one giant arena rework, which is fun. Everybody in every mode is just fighting more

For better or worse, we are so back! In all seriousness though, I enjoy this patch a lot and I agree, fatalis should be removed again. I think nemian can be balanced.
Nemean is fine. Build one lifesteal item and it’s dealt with.
Fatalis is an issue.
Shifters has roo much on it.
And phoenix is only broken on a few gods. Just nerf those gods a bit.
Phoenix vamp shroud artio solo is nasty. Early to mid game you can do nothing.

Though to be fair jormungandr fatalis is stupid... but fun :3
I’m just imaging the scene where thanks gets the last infinity stone. But it’s just the rings and the last one is fatalis.
Fun additions for sure. I'd argue as an ADC enjoyer that Nemean is much healthier than Midgardian... I'd rather get my dmg reflected than a huge chunk of my attack speed and movement speed removed... Like I'd even accept my AS removal but MS is too much... Such a toxic item that should be deleted and not make it to Smite 2

Shifters shield maybe. The rest eh probably fine.
Shifters and fatalis. That’s my opinion.
Honestly don’t care too much about the passive but they gave the item pen and movement speed which it didn’t have before.
It’s supposed to be a luxury item.
Honestly I tried fatalis and honestly the stats is just absolutely garbage for the cost imo. If this item didn’t have flat pen it would be better and also implement the system you suggested.
It would be better if it didn’t have flat penetration?
You say the stats are bad for the cost. are you saying it needs to cost more or less? If they wanted to keep the pen.
@@sanga1380 it should cost more and have no flat pen imo. Having that effect is really powerful so it should cost a lot in terms of gold and stats wise.
There is an item that counters it but it’s a tank item and for 0 reason nobody buys it
Honestly. If you think these changes were bad, you don't really understand what's happening and why they're doing this. It may not be entirely healthy, but what's healthy to someone terminally ill on their death bed?
Side note; there was only one percent pen item back in the day, and the only reason why tanks weren't getting blown up was because the power was so low and the pen to defense distribution was so bad, that one of the most infamous metas was bruiser mages.
I've won every KA game today .-.
Most fun the game has been in a year
Just went 21-0 with Atlas
Items is great but the power changes and protection changes to all gods is making this game so annoying, awilix shouldn’t be able to 1 shot at level 4.. especially if I’m a guardian building tanky.
We need golden bow and dagger back /s
Most of the items were fine. I don't think Nemian is too much of an issue. I've used it a few times and its done nothing to stop ADCs. I think Phoenix Shield and Fatalis were the mistakes. Phoenix Shield is too strong and needs that healing nerfed. Played a game of Arena and the King Arthur on the enemy team was unkillable even with anti-heal, nothing like a 1v5 and the King Arthur walks away with 1/3 health + 3 kills with no damage items. Fatalis should never have been brought back. Haste on Hunters will never be a good idea, this also extends to certain Mages. The only way I could see this even being somewhat acceptable is if they but a cooldown on the Haste effect like what they did with Hastened Ring and give it something like an 8 second cooldown after getting the effect, it will still be a busted item but at least there will counterplay.
To me it just seems like they really want to push people out of Smite, they're pandering to players that left in order to bring them back, or they don't care about the game anymore and are just throwing things in to test them for Smite 2. Its just really disappointing lately. I've been playing for 6 years and it just feels like that time I spent on Smite was just wasted. If they keep doing this I will have to find another game to play.
I think Phoenix Shield is a good idea if AA gods have equinox.
Phoenix shield is alright.
Just because a few gods break an item does not mean you need that item so everyone else can’t use it.
You nerf the gods that are breaking the item.
Also just play gods that have roots.
Arthur can’t use half his abilities while rooted.
@@sanga1380 you mean cripples?
The only item that shouldn't have came back was fatalis it's just not a mechanic that should be in the game all the other items I welcome back with open arms. Disclaimer I main adc.
Shifters shield is over statted tho 300hp is crazy
I think it just shouldn't be permanent. In smite 2 I hope they make it an Active for like 10-15 seconds on a 2 min CD. Like hastened ring isn't busted either.
Shifters is a welcomed change tbh. That item was so good and it really hurt Sun Wukong when they removed it. Him getting Phoenix shield AND Shifters has really increased his viability and I'm all for it.
First adc main here that hasn’t complained about nemean.
I see you understand it’s not that strong. And yeah you know the real issue items.
It’s shifter’s and fatalis that are troublesome.
I could understand fatalis if it had a long enough cooldown between each trigger. So hunters can’t just run away while holding basics against you.
Gives everyone a way to catch up to their target but it’s not permanent. That’s what I feel like it should be.
If it’s permanent then it shouldn’t have a bunch of stats. Remove the pen and movement speed and it sort of balances it out.
adding them back is good , not balancing them is bad lmao
That’s why they are going to balance them lol. This was just to see which ones are too strong.
Pretty fun so yes
Bro why the fuck they brought back haste
I’m not the biggest fan of this patch. I understand why a lot of people like to see these items back. And I understand why they are doing it: this game is basically just existing long enough to hold us over till Smite 2.
Basically yeah.
Honestly it’s just nice having more items to build.
Doesn’t need to be the same 3-4 items on every build for the same role.
If you need hastend fatal then you were probably not good as a hunter to begin with.
Lol definitely true.
I just wanna build fatalis jorm or something.
Maybe build it on some random mage that shouldn’t be using autos. Or maybe zhong cause hes always fun. To build basics.
Honestly I love that nemean is back and I've missed having more options against adcs as it is as a tank. It helps alot too when their using hastened fatalis and I can block while they chase since its just almost impossible feeling to get them to stop following unless your winning the fight
weird seeing nemean only having 50 prots when I remember it once had 90 prots back in season 9.
@@DiveBombRebel90 protections on one item?!? Was there just that much damage back then?
@@sanga1380 Smite did a patch around season 10 that reduced the damage and defense for all items by around 10-15. Before that, nemean's defense hovered around 70-90.
No because smite is fun asf. Brings some variety and cmon, who doesn’t like running into a team and murdering everyone
Wondered how long it would take for you to come out crying about Fatalis. Gotta say I expected more than 2 days, but not surprised coming from a solo main.
Item/mechanic not viable on tanks = instant bitching and crying. Nothing new here.
@@KONSACZthe reason fatalis was aids was because when it was paired with frostbound it virtually made adcs uncatchable.
Adcs can’t build frostbound anymore so I don’t think it’ll be as obnoxious as before
@@zarinasuperiority2376 It's still obnoxious, it just needs to be counter played. That's a lot easier to do in ranked because you can formulate a team to take care of Fatalis abusers. But if you're playing casuals there's not a lot you can do to get around it without some luck. Gods that can pluck someone or generally get them out of position is the best way to counter a Fatalis ADC, but if you didn't pick a god that can do that easily, then you need to hope that you're coordinated with your team enough to blink CC them and they get blown up before they can do anything. The range is really the problem with Fatalis.
@@TheAce5399 Midguardian mail passive counters fatalis
@@TheAce5399a logical person I see.
Yes generally anything can be dealt with by using a proper team and strategy.
Just like people saying King Arthur is too strong so need phoenix. People tend to forget MOBAs rely on teamwork.
Case in point, Arthur gets shut down by roots.
It stops half of his abilities.
Na tanks feel good, i like hunter tears.
smite 2 is miles off, played the play test yesterday, its horrendous.
When warriors could kill adc late game when they hit everything twice but now a rotation it feels sometimes. Adc have gotten power creep so hard. They can build the dumbest builds and it just work because my autos do 300 to full tank it doesn't matter. hide need to stay crit cant be dumb for another season. A crit meta with no way to stop adc late is terrible. I am sick of its late game and that its adc job. No his job is kill tanks and lanes and structures not solo win team fights because 3 auto them. atleast with hybrid warriors stood a chance. whys that because crit items and all adc items need 4 stats and 9 falt pen items yeah this be good. we fucking need hide i dont care if its broke.
Nemean is objectively a mistake because reflecting damage is an inherently garbage and uninteractive way to 'counter' something. Must be removed ASAP.
Phoenix shield was objectively a mistake because it makes specific gods become basically uncontestable in lane off one item, it's like when Equinox was dummy OP except it can't be fixed with normal nerfs because that would just make it worthless on everyone except the huge passive abusers. Also must be removed ASAP.
Fatalis was objectively a mistake because... let's be real that one doesn't even need explaining, it's just absolutely dumb AF. Need time travel to remove it before it was re-added in the first place 😂
The others are all absolutely fine as general ideas and some just need a couple of stats tweaking here and there.
fatalis literally ruined duel
You telling me you can’t build items to counter it?
I know you can.
Honestly duel is probably its weakest mode.
Also hunters have always been meta in dual. It’s not a fatalis issue.
@@sanga1380 you can build midguard or nemean but that only works against physicals, if a magical adc makes it through bans you are cooked
Sac shroud+Phoenix shield Cthulu
Only fattalis its not ok
Namean Lion is completely trash. Multiple matches I’ve played with it has reflected never higher than 20 damage.
That’s because the meta for hunters isn’t crit anymore.
Nemean is a big counter against crit builds but midgardian is better against quinsais builds.
Quins is most broken item in the game and they still don’t reduce the damage or anything.
The passive alone will double a hunters damage in one item.
Also the reason nemean can be so annoying is because just like how Arthur artio and Tiamat break phoenix shield.
Kuzenbo makes nemean seem way worse. And people just can’t handle waiting for the reflect ability to wear off before throwing everything they have at the turtle.
@@sanga1380 The reflect ability lasts a full 3 seconds
This is the best smite has been in a long time. These are much welcomed returns
SPICE > BALANCE, FUN > FAIRNESS (at this point at least)
