It's good and helpful to see your sill and lorha technique close up like that. Nice knife skills too! Ginger works great with beef, a lot of Cantonese beef recipes call for ginger. It feels like an old friend (beef stew) has been given a delicious spicy and exotic lift. I can only guess how good this tastes, so I have to make this for myself 🌴🌶🇹🇹😋👍🌟
Thanks uncle! My wrists prevent me from using it every single day. I love it! The food gets that ancestral touch when I use it. That's cool! I feel like I should've julienned the ginger instead of grating it. As always, thanks for your continued love and support here!
Looks great. I usually add some Worcestershire sauce in my stews also...but I wash the beef with flour because I find the vinegar tends to stiffen the beef.
That looks yummy. In Pakistan we normally stew meat especially beef and goat in Pressure cookers. That not only helps in reducing the cooking time to less than half but also tenderizes the meat and infuses the spices and herbs in the meat without drying it out.
Looks delicious..I add carrots and potatoes when the beef almost done I don't like my veggies mashed up..oh and the electric stove is not a problem for me,. just keep using it and you'll learn how to adjust the right heating temp..
Evening..Happy Thursday.. i use to eat it a long time ago.. it looks so good.thanks for the recipe.😘👍🏽❤..i have an electric stove as well.. i got use to it now.
Resh, this is amazing, what a great take on stewed beef! Ha the rocks at work, I have a similar set up for breaking the acorns. Such lovely simple and fresh ingredients, as I don't have beef I think I would substitute with deer meat. Fab video xx
Looks great for a first time, I don't eat beef either but from my understanding it's similar to how you stew pork or any other meat. Dumplings and Cassava look rel tasty too.
Yummy and I am sooo hungry 😛. Nice pairing with the dumplings and cassava. As an added flavour enhancer add a little green tomatoes and/or Mexican tomatias. it takes your stew another notch up. Enjoy🍲 and take care ❤.
Hi Resh, its been awhile, you look absolutely stunning, congrats on you guys new location, wishing you both much success and happiness in TX. Keep making your awesome videos.. And this recipe looks delish!
This dish looks absolutely amazing! I would offer some tips like you asked but I don't think I would change a thing about this. You are such an awesome cook anyway! Don't worry, you will get used to the electric stove 😁
Looks awesome! So nice to see a sill!!! (Sp?) I do mine the same way. I'm sure you already know this but I love using Fresno peppers as a substitute for pimento. I'm hungry now......
Yep and with Calf meat this will be so tender and then I will load it up with lots of Habaneros..Only for myself to sweat.. Though my Authentic homemade and freshly grounded spice Beef Goulash is very popular among the german Neighbours and colleagues including my wife..Hungarian and Gypsy Goulash.. I can prepare both..
Your stew beef looks amazing but I like slicing a medium onion a medium tomato cut in quarters and (sweet peppers optional) I add this to the stew when I turn the stove off
When it come to beef you do not meet to wash it with anything other than water all other meats yes u have to use lemon and this like vinegar but not beef.
With all my due respect ...what anyone eats is their personal choice but .I really hope you had removed the OM beads from.your hand whilst handling the beef......otherwise its blasphemy to Hindus n Hinduism.
I'm spiritual, not religious. I also believe that it's about what's in your heart and not your stomach. I've seen people who are Hindus and extremely religious, but their mind and heart are hateful and toxic. That's why I chose the spiritual path. I was born a Hindu, went to a Muslim primary school and a Catholic high school. I respect all religions and partake when I need to. My parents never forced Hinduism on us, and instead let us choose the path that we wanted. Have a great evening🙏🏽
Taste of Trini That's not a logical reply and it's really a cop out . If you identify as Hindu then the expectation is you do not eat beef nor promote it. If however you are not Hindu you can simply state that. The spiritual vs religious argument is usually just semantics. Also, whether there are others who profess to be Hindu but have dark motives or hate in their hearts should not affect your actions if you are truly spiritual. If you don't believe in SOMETHING you will fall for ANYTHING!
"And don't be like me and forget d ginger" lol you're the best Resh...my husband is very grateful to u for teaching me to cook.

Electric stove is awful hard to regulate the temperature.
Good try looks good
Biggest thing was not being able to make sada or roast eggplant, so I bought a single gas burner just for that lol.
