I just got my Aillio Bullet. This is better than the documentation from Aillio. I'm not knocking them - the docs are pretty good as well, but I love how this shows each feature in detail. Anyone thinking of getting the Bullet should watch this and your other videos.
Thank you so much for your thorough and thoughtful review. I have not found too many resources online about the Bullet but your videos have helped me feel better about spending what is a significant amount of money for home use. Very much appreciated!
Igno, I know I had said thank you on FB, but this is so much good information for the new Bullet users - I'm in the same boat as many others, mines shipping out today. Your comparison videos helped me cement that this was going to be the one I started my business out on as well.
This was fantastic! I just received my Bullet yesterday and it helped me with the solution!!! Thank you for the video. I will be checking out your other videos
I really appreciate this video! I have roasted coffee on a Gen Cafe for many years, but the Aillio is new to me. I am feeling much more confident and hopefully will translate into a great cup! Thanks!
You have so much more precision with this roaster. But need to approach it a bit different than with the Gene Café. Hope you've had some successful roasts in the meantime 💪
I just got my bullet last week and I will be roasting this weekend, Thanks for the video is very informativo. Do you share your roaster profile in roaster world ?
Thank you for the video. I was wondering, are you deciding your charge temp based on the preheat or probe?? And if it was based on probe how do you control it!!
Thanks for asking. With the Aillio Bullet, pre-heat temperature is measured with the IBTS (drum temperature). I would not change it to the probe, there is no advantage in reading the probe for pre-heating.
I am looking forward to buy a sample roaster but I am confused between probat and Aillio Bullet V2. Can you please share your view on the result of both the roaster? Can the beans roasted on Bullet stand in competition with the beans roasted on Probat ? Is there any difference in results, if we roast same kind of beans with same settings ? Your input will be very beneficial to me.
Thank you for this important question. The roaster doesn't influence the taste of the coffee, what many people are surprised of to hear. e.g. Rob Hoos and Anne Cooper did some impressive research on that. The difference is in the level of control, a roasting machine is giving you as a roaster (how you measure the process, what dimensions you can control and how precisely). The Bullet is a great machine in that perspective and is offering incomparably more possibilities that the old sample roasters that have been used for decades. When it comes to the new Probat sample roaster - I haven't worked with the machine myself and therefore cannot give you profund information based on first hand experience. But if you want more information on the Bullet, I'm happy to help.
Thank you so much! I just received my Bullet yesterday and had to roast manually, totally frustrated by the driver problem. Who knows how many hours of effort and days of delayed usage you saved me?! Thank you!
Hello sir. Got a doubt. Actually Am using roaster for experiment purpose. I need data to be saved. I saved it but after sometime the data was erased. Can I know how the data can be recovered.
Hi Nischitha. You should directly connect with the Aillio support team. Hope, you will find them again. Make sure, you are connected to Roast.World and are using the most actual version of RoasTime.
Really frustrating! I am confused about how to transfer a recipe from Roast World into Roastime. i’ve gone into Roast World, and found a recipe and added it to my stash, and then found it on Roastime where i can run it. But, sometimes, the recipe doesn’t show up in Roastime after I transfer it. Another really aggravating issue is the apparent inability in Roast Word to go from a list of recipes, look at one, and then go back to the list - there’s no Go Back tab!!! Your “Complete Tutorial” completely skips the details here.
Please understand that when covering each single detail, the video would be 10 hours and hardly watchable. What I can recommend you in any case is to always use the latest version of RoasTime. They are continually improving the user experience.

Perfect timing! I’ll be getting my bullet this week so this will be super helpful! Thanks for making this!
I knew, you are going to get your Bullet this week, that's why I did the video just now 😊

Thanks for your feedback. David. I try to provide the information, that would have helped me. Therfore I'm happy if the videos were helpful for you.
Thank you so much for this video. It answered so many questions that helped to get the roaster working with the program.
Thanks for your kind feedback.

Thanks for your feedback, Ken. I'm happy it helped 🙏. Have fun with the Aillio Bullet.
What a great video! This should be added to the Aillio site, I don't recall seeing anything as in depth as this.
Thank you, Mark! I appreciate your feedback 🙂

This was extremely informative, thank you very much for making this, again, in English :D

Thanks a lot, Andres. We've got profiles on the website, but I haven't got them in Roast.World yet. Kind regards Ingo

Sir, is the machine can be set up to roast automatically once you have created your roasting profile?
Hi. Yes, you can do that easily with roast time. But you have to load it manually and also unload it manually when the roast is finished.
Thank you so much! I just received my Bullet yesterday and had to roast manually, totally frustrated by the driver problem. Who knows how many hours of effort and days of delayed usage you saved me?! Thank you!
Great to hear, Tim. Meanwhile the driver problem should be gone if you update to the newest version of RoasTime.
Ooohhh thank you . .. . I've watched your video now
Thank you for your feedback 😊

At about 48:30 you start the profile by clicking an arrow. My version of Roast Tine (circa February 2024) has no arrow! What to do?
i made a video where i roasted Tanzania Robusta, where I work in RT4. Doing Recipes in RT4 is really simple.
Great video! Would love to find a second hand Bullet!
You can check in the Aillio Bullet user Facebook group.
One question - can you extract from Roast.World, or my laptop, roast data as a CSV or similar?
Yes, you can download it as a CSV from Roast.World
