I've been waiting for your update so bad, and I'm glad to have you back! 8:19 , each time you overcome your frenzied virus, the MV you need to fill up for consequential virus overcome becomes higher by 100(lv1 max 1000, lv2 max 900, lv3 max 800) before TU5 it's really tricky to overcome the frenzied virus multiple times but now that we have harvest moon works nicely, bloodlust became a very viable option and if you can, can we get the access to the data about priorities in armor skills like you did in the TU1?
Wow i did not know this about Frenzy; thanks for letting me know! Definitely seems rather straightforward hree in TU5. And yup, skill priority list is coming veeeery soon!
Hi Ralph, Great to see you back and to hear that all is well! Rather surprised that Furious wasn't mentioned for its passive +20 resistance to all elements (+25 ele for melee) for Dragon Conversion pairing. With food skills that brings most sets to +50 to all res after resistance buildup so it's well worth it. I'm excited to see that video on Powder Mantle math soon!
@@dreamingsuntide1 to expand, Dragon conversion works well with furious for that guaranteed Elemental resistance, as well as strife with bloodlust or dereliction. Dragon Elemental builds benefit the most as you can remove Furious in place of dragon heart to genuinely max out your Elemental resistance at 50 each for about 62 bonus element. Very huge for DualBlades. I'm able to barely hit 300 on most elements. Dragon is pretty ridiculous with the chaos magala dual blades
An important mention is dragon conversion for CB and SA. It adds soooo much flat element on them especially in conjunction with Furious on red scroll, which gives a total of 20 res to all elements. CB is now doing like 250-300 dmg per phial on 10 ele hitzones and upwards of 1000-1300 on 30 ele hitzones at times, so it is easily the most powerful skill for these two weapons. CB is running a set with strife 3, dragon conversion 3, furious 3, burst 3, and dereliction 3 to reach 250-300 element with the new augments.
I’ve been using dereliction, it’s great value for only one skill point invested, I ended up rolling build up boost and quick sheathe on the archfiend legs so it worked out. I find the health drain is actually quite easy to manage, with bloodblight, blood rite, Hinoa’s hunting horn songs, super dango recovery etc. most of the time I barely even notice the health drain. The only downside is if you swap scrolls you lose the buff for a minute or so, so you want to mostly stay on one scroll which kinda conflicts with harvest moon play. So if you’re nervous about using dereliction like I was then don’t worry about it, with the recovery items I mentioned it’s not that big of a deal. It’s better value than mail of hellfire at level 1, but there’s no reason you can’t run both MoH and dereliction at level 1 for an insane +40 raw attack
Great thinking, but there's sorrrrt of an issue in that Dereliction only gives Raw when it's on Blue scroll, while Mail of Hellfire is on Red scroll, so it's really just one of the other. Mail of Hellfire seems much more usable and accessible, but nominally dereliction can indeed work.
@@dreamingsuntide1 oh that’s right, the scrolls contradict each other, that’s my mistake. I tend to prefer dereliction personally and don’t use mail of hellfire but I hear it’s good for elemental weapons when used on the respective scroll.
Welcome back dude! I know this video is mostly on Qurious Crafting but I have a quick question with Talismans. I managed to get a Frostcraft Level 3 Teostra Blessing Level 3 with a 3 slot and a 2 slot, is more cost effective to Qurious Craft the Velkhana chest for better skills while keeping Quick Sheath 3 or should I use a different chest piece like the Risen Teo one? Edit I mainly use this Talisman when using Long Sword and Great Sword
So i’m a lil late, but would you say these are just good general skills to just have? cause I used every weapon so I think i’m in a position where I have to make multiple pieces of the same armor to not conflict my builds.
How important is attack up 7? I got a FC3 2 1 talisman which I thought would open up some more strong combos but even with mail/P/Wmantle on ny armor pieces i cant reach both crit 7 and att 7. I went with powder 2 and att 4 so far
I think that Dragon Conversion is a lot better than you say here. If you get enough hits to trigger the blue scroll element resist boost and then switch to red, you get the element attack from the blue scroll's elemental resistance, which persists until you switch scrolls again (or cart).Triggering that takes 20 hits for longsword, which is easily done with 2 Silkbind Slashes, and with the 50 element resist that the skill gives you at base, plus 75 from the blue scroll effect, you get 25% of 125 which is 31 element by itself. Assuming a base element of 100, that's better than Element Attack+5
I'm curious to see your take on what mathematically are the most optimal sets for lance in TU5. I've been following a lot of Japanese lance speedrunners, and I've noticed that the Lucent Nargacuga lance combined with Build Up Boost, Status Trigger and Adrenaline Rush being used to max out damage. Also, glad to see you back. I was genuinely worried you might have died or something since you didn't post anything in 4 months.
@@dreamingsuntide1 im also waiting on this, since ive been a lance main since the dawn of times, and i recently discovered your channel, it’s pure gold, thank you for your content
I'm happy you're back!. One thing I want to point out is that I like to run Desperate roar(except Kush-matchup), I guessed the higher raw and the purple along with the Agitator would have balanced the negative affinity and the lack of BuildBoost lv1. My set is basically: Agi5 Ab7 Ce7 We3 Cb3 QuSh3 WiWh3 FrostCr3 SpeedSh3 StunRes3 Burst1 PMant1 WMant1 Bloodlust1 Coales1 IntrepidH2 FlinchF1 FrenzBlood1 Yes pretty comfy The difference between my two raw sets is: -Desparate Roar has: Mastery3 -Wyv Luna has: BuildBoost1, ChameBless3, Foray1 Thing is I can't improve more one set over the other Do you think I miss much EFR? Maybe I could use desparate Roar in particular cases? I'll also say that I've a pretty maxed out set for every Elemental Ls without Agi5 but with CritEle3 and EleExploit3 (with Frostcraft3 too). While for Kaktus Ls I've CritEle3 EleEx1(and FireAtk+5) with ChameBless3 and BuildBoost 1 Foray1
The raw is nice but especially now the affinity really hurts it; once you go negative it's hard to maintain high stamina, while all the other Long Swords can hit purple now. Next video (uploading!) should have some raw builds to compare to!

Funny that your conclusion is what I did to my LS build during the time you didn't upload. Guess I was sorta in the optimal path.
