My love for math and games all in one video! My friends always pick fun at me for optimizing my sets/builds with math. This video highlights why I do such math sometimes. It’s fun to ME*, I know some people will wonder how I find math fun in a game, but maybe I should rephrase and say it is very satisfying to calculate values on paper then see the actual results pay off. This video has also given me inspiration for creating a mod that would make armor optimizations easier, however I’m new to learning how to make mods for any game; specifically MonHun though. If anyone happens to read this and would be kind or willing enough to help me get into modding, I’d greatly appreciate it! I have a background in programming and cyber, so even a little bit of info or redirection is useful to get me started!
honestly man, you are by far the most underrated monster hunter content creator right now. Wish they'd stop putting rurikhan in my face all day and keeping you off the list.
Does this means that after someone had done the groundwork of making a skill effectiveness spreadsheet for every weapon, a modder could make a mod that tells you how many % increase or decrease will happen to your damage output, and potentially make a decision for the player on whether to keep it, after every Qurios roll? This reminds me of some MMO plugins that shows an icon on every armor piece which tells you how much it will increase/decrease your dps after you put it on.
