If you go to your tame's behavior menu, you can "disable ally looking," and they'll stop bobbing their heads at you. Makes it a bit easier to build on.
Thanks so much for the tip! This will seriously be SO helpful because I've gotten stuck in the floor by my Paracer moving its head around many times lol. I always wondered what that command meant. Please let me know if you have any other great tips for anything else on my channel :)
Yes, I am playing with mostly default settings, but I did max out the platform structure limit. With defaults, I believe you should be able to get just enough structures on board to enclose the Paracer. If you run out of structures, you could try removing the center floor tiles. You can also save a few structures if you place the dino gates closer together instead of using walls for the middle section on the front or back. Another good thing to know is, plant species X turrets only count toward the structure limit when they are mature. So you can place all your structures, then add all your turrets when you are already at the max structures. You probably won't be able to fit the base structures, but if you carry a Beaver or Argent with you, their saddle can replace the smithy. A horse saddle can also replace the mortar and pestle. I will make a tutorial later on how to make a good Paracer Tank with the default structure limits. Feel free to subscribe to be notified when it comes out.
Hi Kino, you may need to change your game settings to make sure structure placement collision is checked and platform structure limit is maxed out. Let me know if that works :)
@@ArkSurvivalGuide I have maxed out the platform structure limit and the ceiling trick works only rafts but not with Dino's with platform saddling. I'm on console hosting a nitrado server and I've seen people having the same stuggles with extending foundations.
Hmm another couple of settings that might affect it are allowing multiple floors on a platform saddle, and allowing structure clipping. I'll test this more thoroughly when I make a full Paracer base tutorial on my Ark Switch guide :)
This Paracer tank build is a bit unusual. Because it's on a platform, you can snap foundations to the bottom of the ceilings. And we are basically building the base upside down, with a set of walls all the way down to the ground, and ceilings that are "supported" by the foundations above them. As long as a ceiling has a foundation below or above it and a set of walls connecting them, you can build as far as you want away from the wall :)
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend this for PVP because all someone has to do is kill off your Paracer somehow and the whole base goes down. For PVE, it's amazing though :)

You extended paracer platform saddle structure capacity?

I've tried to extend but the ceiling trip wouldn't let me. Have you figured out a way around it?

@@ArkSurvivalGuide Oh ok. Thanks for the advice!
@@owl.a987 No problem, I'm always happy to help! Drop a comment anytime you have any questions :)
How do you extend the structures without any foundation support?

Ark: Survival Guide wait does this work on quetzals?
Will turrets be able to shoot you through the build?
Your the best
Thanks so much for your support! I'm working on improving the video quality, so hopefully everything will look even better soon.
