    Very interesting stuff you brought up here. I too have contemplated infinity and the self alot but you included great examples relating to how neurology and the brain relates to the topic that i haven't thought of. Also, a really cool thumbnail!

      Thank you! 🙏 Always great to hear that people are playing with these ideas themselves. Let us know if you have any personal breakthroughs or insights!!
      & hopefully you’ll enjoy the continued unfolding too. 🤞
      The idea for the series (for any who are interested) is that this first season will go till around late Sept/Oct, and then season 2 moves away from physics (a bit) and towards the topic of consciousness, and then in the third year we do infinity and our unfolded philosophy. 😬 So a way to go yet. 🙏🙏🙏 cheers for saying Hi!!

      @@InfiniteNow_withSeanCrowley thanks. I'll stay tuned when more stuff comes out. Happy to see people going through the effort to raise consciousness! Of course when talking about topics like infinity or consciousness or the non physical you can't really put it into words since they've been invented for practical use in the material world but words can still point one to the right direction.👍

      Welcome to the party, @adventureachlemy805. Have we chatted before? Always eager to hear fresh perspectives. So considering we both seem to share a Gnostic’s passion for knowledge, let’s hone in on exactly what you’ve said…
      “Our life is dissociation from true (Universal Mind) reality, and our death is the end of that dissociation.”
      This is a massive claim, but let’s go with it… if this is the case, shouldn’t our next question should be: What instigates the dissociation? Why should the Universal Mind fragment itself at all? If this was merely a choice taken by the universal mind, then the question should become what instigates choice in the universal mind? If not by choice, what?
      Second, “nothing but subjective experience is real; our bodies and brain are just excitations of the quantum field.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but this seems to be in direct conflict with itself. Wouldn’t the quantum field also be an aspect of the subjective experience?
      Lastly, ”Consciousness is our sense and the only think alive ...once the observer realise that he observe what ego perceive, that would be moment of self-realisation or gnosis …”
      What I think you mean by this is that we don’t perceive the world as it is; we perceive it as we are. Is that right? If so, I entirely agree. However, we are still using terms like “observer” and “ego” to identify something that seemingly “is”. So, what are these things in reality? As asked… Why has the Universal Mind fragmented? The fragmentation isn’t an illusion per se because, as you said, the subjective experience is what’s real.
      Whether we consider this same question of “self” from a materialist view or an idealist view doesn’t seem to make much difference, because we still need to know what this fragmenting is, as there always seems to be some actuality to its individuality (i.e., observer/ego, etc.), though at the same time, we can never identify any ultimate boundaries to justify this individuation/fragmentation.
      What do you think?

      @@InfiniteNow_withSeanCrowley Hi.Very please to hear you are interested in what i had to say..I will try to explain the best i can,but i must warn you,my education is not on enviable level,nor is my English.So let me try to answer the first question.Why the Universal Mind has urge for fragmentation?..Can we know that?..I am not sure,we can know that while we share this waking reality.I am sure we will know after we go back.Maybe gnostics were right.after all.We see and perceive this objective world or world outside of ourselves with physical senses,and to claim that this world is an illusion would be wrong.This world does exists,but it is not what we see and perceive,because it is mental in nature,but our ego perceive it as "physical",so it is physical only in colloquial sense .Why we are dissociated,i am not sure i can give you any "rational" answer,i could guess since we are going back to pleroma or Universal Mind same as whirlpools becoming lake or sea after it calms down,i would say that our experience is very important in that dissociation.I do believe that while we are experiencing this reality,we should learn and experience as much as we can,so that when we wake up(after we die) we bring that experience back to pleroma,cause that in my opinion is True and eternal reality.It could be that we are unconscious agents who serve unconscious God.Its my guess of course 😜.Yes,you are right,and i am sorry i made mistake in sentence,and to be honest i forget what was original attempt,but i agree that we don't perceive reality as it is,but as we are.After all,we are one with this Universal Mind,before dissociation and after,so before we are born and after we "die", but why Unjversla Mind has needs to make us distinct is mystery.Is it possible to know the answer on these questions,i believe it is.I know once person reach gnosis or higher level of consciousness,he or she is completely different persona.In that state of mind,there is no separation and if that is the case,than we should know not only ourselves,but in same manner the world outside of us,cause we become one with it.The question is but how to reach that,and i believe that ascetic life is crucial or some sort of overcoming suffering ...successfully overcoming of course ...i am really sorry i can't remember what is the original intent behind the statement such ad "consciousness is our senses",but i know senses was not the word i was gonna write ...but i strongly agree that we perceive reality what we are,not what it is...i hope this will give you some satisfaction, if not,please shoot again,cause i love to discus on this topic,but first and foremost my goal is to come to some logical conclusion,not to win argument...thank you for your response and again,if you are not happy with what i had to say,ask again,i will be more than happy to come back to you. All the best 🙌🙏

    • @adventurealchemy805
      @adventurealchemy805 Місяць тому +1

      Let me just correct myself if i can.We think we are distinct from pleroma,same as we "think" we are not what we are while we dream,and once we wake up,we realize "well,it was only a dream."..I had dreams myself knowing that i am dreaming.Only i was not aware of my identity,like my name,my profession or where i am sleeping at the moment,but i did say to myself in dreams "ok,i know this is a dream,and now i want to feel the texture of walk which i am about to touch"...and believe me,i did felt it and it was more real than what i felt in waking state of mind.The question is who was dreaming,taking in consideration that ego was off,otherwise i would be aware of my identity and environment?..So,question is,are the dreams less or more real than waking state,and who is dreaming whole ego is off?..So distinction is crasted by ego,and that is why i believe,once we find the Self,we will get to ultimate truth,which is gnosis ...in my opinion

      Thank you so much for such a detailed response. And I applaud your efforts in English for me. Much appreciated. And secondly, I wholeheartedly agree, we are not in this to win any arguments, just to reach logical conclusions.
      For the most part I have no issues with the imagery you’re describing, it’s more about the use of language and metaphor that I like to analyse, just so that we can see where any contradictions might hide.
      It’s getting a little late here, and I want to give your response proper consideration, so give me a day or so and I’ll get back to you! Thanks again 🙏

    • @InfiniteNow_withSeanCrowley
      @InfiniteNow_withSeanCrowley  Місяць тому +2

      So there was a lot in your response to draw from, but let me start with our original question regarding the disassociation from the whole.
      Fairly, your core response was that this is most likely beyond our capabilities for knowledge. And that’s a reasonable position to take, but if we have to fall back on faith then we aren’t much better off than any ordinary religious view. So I tend to think we can push it further.
      However, I did like your attempt at an answer, i.e. the whirlpool analogy. This is one I’ve heard many idealists use, and considering it offers a decent metaphor for uniqueness amid wholeness I’m all for it. But it does also highlight my issue, because, for a whirlpool to persist there must be some greater influence. Whirlpools don’t just happen, they are a reaction to a certain condition, and it’s that condition I’m wanting to investigate re the self. Your second example, ie the first person perspective in the dream, is another good metaphor for uniqueness amid wholeness, and so again I’m all for it. Plus, it’s not as easy to presume the external influence in this case. So why is there the uniqueness of a first person ego in the dream when we are in actuality the whole dream? Why does the ego place itself (or a version of itself) front and centre?
      As far as I can tell, it’s because our mind knows by experience that it must experience its world from a sole perspective. When we dream, we are not the surrounding world or other people from THEIR perspective, we are them from OUR perspective. We may not know what some dream character is about to do or say before they do or say it, but neither does the dream character. That world only happens as it happens to us. In the dream it’s all whirlpool. The only external influence is the one acquired in our waking life.
      So the subjectivity of the dream is not like the subjectivity of waking life because in waking life, we interact with others who are also having a first person experience (or at least we presumably are). And this is the big issue I have with claiming “all is mind”. Mind shapes our view of the world by negating certain information and bringing other information to the fore. But the medium by which minds interact with one another is something completely different. Something much closer in nature with what we call the material. So I think, as you say, the gnostic view is right… the world does exist, it just doesn’t exist in a one to one correspondence with what we experience.
      What we experience is a finite perspective of what is essentially infinite and whole.
      Though, in this sense, it can be said that the dream is just as “real” as waking life. Both are real in the sense that they both happen, but they are not the same type of happening.
      All is one. That I agree with.
      Mind may be unbounded and whole with this one, but that doesn’t mean that the One is mind and mind alone.
      At least that’s my take on things currently.
      How does that sit with you? 👍👍
