What an Absolutely Obstinate piece of Gear! The instructions could have made it clear that you spin the INNER CIRCLE Counterclockwise while holding that button. CHRIST this was AGGRAVATING! THX for the video!! I Owe ya A BEER!

How do you clean the inside of the blades? I have a tonne of muck and shredded leaves built up inside affecting the machines airflow and efficiency.
Good question. I haven’t used mine so much to reach that point. But it seems that that you can access the blades from two places. One , when you open the air component to attach the tube like I show you 1:10 sec into the video, thru 1:40 and the blades are visible and two, you can see some of the blade where you insert the air bag. Check the air intake for dirt, debris and anything that might block airflow. Rotate the blade and blow air into it and/or using long pipe brush with flexible handle comes to mind. Make sure you unplugged the power source first before you do anything. Safety comes first. Maybe someone else has more experience in this area and can offer some advice? Any tips are welcome. Wish I could tell you exactly what to do but I have never encountered this problem. Let’s hear from other people or last but not least call technical support from the company and consult the manual.
@@ezreklama okay thanks, first time actually using it. tonne of leaves to hoover up and I guess some of the more damp ones created a big build up. I hope I can try what u suggested and not have to dissemble the entire machine.

Thank you soooo much! I watched your video before doing anything. After watching I was able to put it together without having ro read and reread the instructions. Yiu are a lifesaver! One question, after using the vacuum and mulching tool with the bag, I put the blower nozzle back on and the unit won't come back on. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I put the vacuum part back on just to see if it would work and it works as expected. Not sure why the unit will not come on with the vacuum piece attached. It worked the first time.
Well thanks for visiting us. Glad it helped. Leave a like. That helps us to grow the channel. Try reassembling again. Make sure everything is snug. I never used it as a blower, just a mulcher. But if that does not work and if blowing is that an important function for you then take it back with your receipt.

I did everything you showed to set up the blower but the motor would not start when i pressed the button. Is there some interlock that you failed to mention that enables the motor to run? I know for a fact that the power was active since I tested the power cord with a lamp to ensure that it had power. I used 3 different power cords and none of them worked. Maybe mine is defective?
I’m assuming the other 3 power chords were tested and had power flowing when plugged. Sometimes the reset button shuts off when a line is overloaded or a chord (wire) is wet at the tip. All else, I would simply return the contraption for a refund or exchange. You have a one year warranty from the date of purchase. Sometimes you get a 🍋.
My blower isn't working either. There's power to the unit as I just used my hedge trimmers and did some vacuming. I locked the bottom black piece and nothing. It did this before and I can't remember how I fixed it. I'm so tired of sh#t not working right.
Sounds like it’s defective. Take it back for an exchange or refund. Bring ur receipt.
@@ezreklama Well I've had it for a couple years. I took out the 20 screws holding it together and checked the electrical switch and all appeared in working order. The vacuum worked so it wasn't the switch. What I discovered is the "locking mechanism" wasn't fully engaged. There's a safety (?) locking mechanism (the black intake guard) that needs to be fully rotated. Because it's plastic it looked fully rotated, but it wasn't. I lubed it up with grease and it rotated to the fully engaged setting and my blower activated. I'm so tired of fixing lawn equipment. I don't mind paying good money for something, but damn, everything is cheaply made. I once had the original "weed wacker" that lasted me over 20 years! Those days are long gone!

I just bought this last night. Turned it on and I was getting shocked! Don’t know why? Thoughts?
Sorry. No idea. Hard to say without context. Are you standing on a carpet, electric overload, defective equipment. Plug some other device in the same outlet or better yet ask an electrician. All else fails, return it. You have one year warranty on it.

I assembled it but despite busing numerous power cords, it doesn't turn on. Am.I doing something wrong? Is there a switch to change from blower from vacuum? I can't get it to do anything

I have assembled correctly as a vac and it won't turn on. I've checked breaker. I've made sure it's all assembled correctly and it still wont turn on. I'm so frustrated. I loved your video
If your power does not work, take it back to the store. You have a one year warranty on it and bring your receipt with you.

Pull switch back and hold and while holding switch back then grab hold of ball inside and turn ccounterclockwise as shown in 1:07 in video

The bottom part where the muddle came out I need to know how to put it back toghter
Is yours a gas powered blower? If so, this is not a gas powered blower video and there are no bottom part muddles here that I know of, at least not to my knowledge. If your machine requires repair, I suggest you try this site or refer to the manual. www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/Leaf-Blower-Repair/27-317--/Craftsman-Leaf-Blower-Troubleshooting. This video offers no more than putting together the main components. You can always ask the people who sold it to you. They often know a lot more information about what they sell. Maybe they can help you. Sorry.

What amp/gauge extension cord did you use?
Good question. I looked it up. Just a regular off the shelf 50 foot cord. They are probably preset to use a 16-gauge for light-duty blowers.
I have tried several and mine doesn't work at all.

I noticed a few of the Amazon reviews say they don't start at all so I guess mine is a total lemon too.
There is always a lemon in the barrel somewhere. The nice thing is that you can always return it. Sometimes even without a receipt
I got it from Amazon. They are sending another and see how it works.. I am 70. I figure this would be better than raking and killing my back. 😊
